Welcome back to Strangerville! In the last part, we saw Harmony go to the library and have a couple brawls with her Scientist friend Robi Temple. Fortunately those fights weren't serious because it was Neighborhood Brawl Day.
Harmony is currently downstairs sparring with the bot (as I mentioned in the last picture from the last part). Aldo is eating yogurt because Harmony tried cooking food on Saturday and she ended up catching both the grill and stove on fire, plus one of the counters. At this time they couldn't afford a new stove. Quick meals it is.
This bizarre plant near the house is ready to be harvested. Harmony wants to see if another Sim will eat it and become possessed. She's studied the bizarre fruits and she's pretty sure they will turn Sims possessed. Soon these plants and fruits won't taunt the lovely citizens of Strangerville.
Both Harmony and Aldo got a Promotion to (level 6) today! They're so happy and proud of their hard work! Plus no one at the base is even remotely suspicious of Harmony's investigation or Aldo's support.
"Best friends that get promoted together stay together," Aldo says. Harmony knows what that means. It's just a matter of time before things really heat up between these two. Harmony is much too busy with this mystery to have a relationship. Look at the way these two look at each other! They're adorable!
Harmony decided she's going to be the one who cleans all the sinks from these strange vines. Aldo isn't as into the mystery these days, so she's taking full responsibility for this crazy mess. Fortunately they're the only two that have any idea what's been happening. No one suspects a thing.
Aldo painted this really interesting painting before his yoga session. Aldo has discovered yoga is a great way to keep his fitness up, make him more flexible and relax him from the crazy stressful days at the base.
Here's some Sim logic. Harmony is on the phone with Robi to get their relationship up. She needs him to give her something for the mystery, but he says their relationship is too low. Meanwhile in the background, Robi is WALKING DOWN THE STREET. While Harmony is supposedly on the phone with him.
Aldo decided to use the evening to relax even more and read a good book. He's so glad Harmony convinced him to put this super cute reading nook in their home. Both Aldo and Harmony love reading, and this is the perfect place to hide with a great book.
Oh no, a new possessed Sim! Honestly I am but I'm also not shocked that we haven't seen Bella Goth in Strangerville, given her history with Strangetown in Sims 2.
Winter is here, which means it's almost Winterfest! Harmony loves decorating for Winterfest, even though Strangerville doesn't really get cold. Their thermostat has been set to cool since I started this save in the Spring.
Aldo is in charge of the party, while Harmony gets everything set up. They couldn't afford the exact stove they had, so they agreed on a cheaper one until they could save up.
You go Harmony! She's all ready to party! She looks like Bella Goth, the decorations look amazing, the guests are almost there, and she's got the Winter Holiday station playing! She and Aldo love alternative music, but there's just something about that Winter Holiday station.
Aldo is quite pleased with how this party is going. He was careful to not invite too many people, and everyone is having a great time! Not to mention his ham dinner is delicious!
The next afternoon they decided to workout together, with Aldo on the treadmill and Harmony pumping some iron. Aldo promised Harmony that he'd help her with yoga soon.
After Harmony worked out, ate and showered, it was painting time. She loves painting, and she recently discovered it's a great way to make money on top of her great paying military job. She loves the idea of getting paid to do something she loves without sacrificing her career.
That's it for this part of Strangerville! Next time we may travel again and maybe then Robi will cooperate and give us what we need! Harmony is getting a little desperate to finish this mystery! She's not doing it for the attention or recognition, but to help the great citizens of Strangerville get out of this strange occurrence.
