Strangerville Part Twenty-Eight: Post Mystery Part Four

This is the last of the twice a week posts. I'm sorry this is so late; I've been pretty busy this week and haven't had much time to get some Aldo screenshots. Last night my internet was in and out, so I wasn't able to type anything up once I got the screenshots. On Wednesday, September 2nd, we will be back to our normal weekly posts at noon Eastern time :)

When we last saw Aldo, he was still working his way to getting that last promotion. He has all the requirements, they just need to promote him. He also made a trip to the spa as well as the community space, where we pick up today's part.

Tina Tinker is making a candle as Aldo talks to Timmy Turner. Yes, I did make Timmy as well as Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof. They should be on the gallery. I made them a while ago, so they're about halfway down the list. My Gallery ID is PhilliesPOPster5 and the I'm pretty sure the family name is Fairy.

With Aldo moving to Evergreen Harbor soon, I didn't want Harmony to go away. So instead of her possibly disappearing forever, I decided to add her to the household. I don't know why I didn't do this before. The guest appearances were fun, but prepare to see more of Harmony from this point. An interesting thing I noted about Harmony is she has the "Consumed By The Mother" trait. Because of that, she no longer has any need decay. All her needs are full all the time.

It's the second day of Spring, and Aldo hasn't had the time to take down the tree. He may leave it up until he moves. We'll see if Harmony convinces him otherwise.

The maid looks so done. She really needs some time to herself. Hopefully the other houses she cleans are as nice as Aldo and Harmony's.

Jacques Villareal called Harmony and asked if she would like to join the Good Timers Club. She said she'd love to and he invited her to a gathering at The Shrieking Llama. Dominic Fyres, Jacques Villareal, and Harmony are playing Don't Wake The Llama. A few Sim minutes after this was taken, Mila Munch joined the game.

When Harmony got home, Aldo was sparring with the bot. It's a good way for him to keep his reflexes sharp.

Tina Tinker came over because she wanted to give Aldo a gift. It was an upgrade part as always. This time it was a plumbing upgrade part.

The next morning before work, Aldo wanted to make himself a drink. I'm not sure it's the best time to make a drink, but let's go with it. He drank half of it before he had to leave. Harmony drank the rest so it wouldn't spoil.

Jacques invited Harmony to hang out at the Blue Velvet Nightclub in Willow Creek. She loves that club, so she said yes. Here she is dancing with Dominic Fyres dancing in the background.

When Harmony got home, she found out ALDO GOT PROMOTED!! Aldo is now a Grand Marshall, which is level 10 of the Military Career! That means in a few Sim days from now (it's Thursday in game), we will be moving to Evergreen Harbor!

Harmony likes possessing things until they break, but I always make her repair them immediately. I want either her or Aldo (or both) to max the Handiness Skill so we can visit the secret lot in Oasis Springs.

Aldo wanted to celebrate, so he called for a Partihaus gathering at Narwhal Arms. Here he is with Eva, Paolo, and Marcus. Jade is already working her way inside. She really wants to start this party.

Aldo has been hard at work on his Dancing skill (he mastered it) and he's letting it show. He's showing off his sick moves while everyone else watches in awe.

It's Love Day, so Harmony asked if she could make Aldo a drink. He said yes of course. Sims love having a casual drink every now and again.

Bess came over while Harmony and Aldo were talking. Aldo didn't realize he had to go and unfortunately peed himself in front of the stairs. He immediately went upstairs to take a bath. And also hide his embarrassment. Fortunately Bess and Harmony were still watching Romantic TV so they didn't see it.

Ooh Bess! Free Love is one of the active Neighborhood Action Plans, so Sims in this neighborhood get a little flirty with each other, even if they're not single. Bess and Harmony are getting a little close and Harmony seems to like it.

Here's a bonus picture. Aldo finished his bath, grabbed some food, and sat back down on the couch. I think he likes what he sees. He also looks possessed, so it's a little hard to tell. Sims have really funny facial expressions.

That will wrap up today's trip to Strangerville! Next time we visit Aldo will most likely be our last part in Strangerville. Since it's currently Friday in game, I figured we could have Aldo move in about a Sim week. That gives him time to save some money for the move and also keep some because we'll be joining the Civil Designer career when we move.

Wednesday we visit Camila and the kitties to see how they're doing! We're getting closer to the Mansion Baron aspiration! I'm not sure what we'll be doing after that though. We may try to find her a man and then have a Sim baby (or two or three depending on how many the game wants us to have).

Not So Berry Rose Gen Part Fourteen

Last time we visited the Berry family, Ross started wooing Candy Behr. Unfortunately, he didn't get too far because other Sims joined the conversation and made flirting awkward. Just a reminder, this week is the last week of two a week posts. Next week we resume the once weekly posts on Wednesday afternoons at Noon Eastern Time.

Ross was feeling angry (thanks Hot-Headed trait), so he destroyed Yannick's playhouse. I made him repair it right away. That's not how we deal with things in this house, Ross.

He decided to play with Tom a little to burn off some more steam. Tom was trying to eat, so that didn't work out too well at first. Ross needs to refill this cat food dispenser soon.

Yannick has mastered the Communication skill! Talking to Blarfy really helps toddlers gain Communication skill. And Brooklynn is in the background holding Tom in a weird way while Ross practices his speech in the mirror.

Mitchell came and haunted the master shower. So instead of fixing it, he cleans the mess the shower is making. Oh ghosts. Always breaking things, rarely repairing them.

But all is good because Brooklynn fixed it when she woke up!

The second skill Yannick has mastered is the Potty skill! So now he can fully talk and potty on his own! Way to go, Yannick! He only has a couple more days until he ages up, so we'll see if he can master any other skills.

Brooklynn decided to take some time to teach Yannick to say "Please" and "Thank You." It's a great bonding experience for both of them, plus Yannick will benefit most from it.

Ross got a promotion!! He is entering the Investor branch of the Business career! He doesn't seem very amused, but he really is. He just had a boring day.

Siobhan Fyres invited Ross out to celebrate his promotion. Of course Siobhan has to play on the computer while Ross is dancing and flirting with her. She really likes it. Will she be a love interest? We shall see. She is a cute Sim.

Since Yannick mastered two skills, Ross and Brooklynn decided to reward him with a ball pit! The only place to put it is the basement but it works. Yannick loves it!

Yannick masters another skill! He has now mastered Movement! He's currently level 3 in both Imagination and Thinking. With only one day until he ages up, I don't think he will master them. Mastering three skills and reaching level 3 in the other two is pretty impressive.

Toddlers petting cats is so cute. I'm debating if we want to keep Tom alive as an adult or let him age then add his ghost to the household. Since aging is on, I think I'll add his ghost to the household. I'll try to keep him around until Yannick is much older. We don't have to worry about it right now since he's an adult.

It's Yannick's birthday! Brooklynn woke up sad because of the gloomy trait. She decided to make him a blue confetti cake because that's everyone's favorite.

Siobhan came over and Brooklynn greeted her. She figured it was so she could also celebrate Yannick's birthday. She doesn't know the real reason Siobhan is here. She came over autonomously; Ross did not invite her.

Brooklynn, Siobhan, and Ross are watching a movie while everyone finishes eating. Brooklynn made some fruit and yogurt parfaits yesterday.

That will wrap up today's trip to Oasis Springs! Next time we visit, Yannick will become a child and we'll see what happens with Ross and Siobhan! Scarlet will also somehow come in the mix because she was Ross' teenage crush. Have a great week and stay safe!

A to Z Batista Legacy Gen C Part Thirteen

Last time we visited Newcrest, we were working on the relationships between Cassidy & Dave and Chad & Leilani. Dave is getting close to becoming an elder, so we need to work quickly to make some gen D baby/babies.

Dave was feeling inspired, so he decided to paint a picture. I forget what he was painting though.

After he was finished his painting, Dave enjoyed a nice breakfast of grilled fruit while he was talking to a ghost. I forget who was talking to though.

Chad needed some bits and pieces for something, so he recycled some things he had in his inventory.

I built an industrial community space for the neighborhood. The Batista family isn't too energy efficient, so I want them to leave an industrial footprint. 

When Chad got home, he was exhausted. He went to bed and Leilani, Cassidy, and Dave decided to chat and bond a little.

Afro decided to join the conversation. Cassidy is also enjoying a nice post-workout drink.

After Dave and Cassidy went to bed, Leilani noticed the shower was broken. When she fixed it, she found Afro haunting the tub. "Really, Afro? You could have haunted anything in this house, yet you choose this tub?"

That morning, Chad wanted to take a swim. That idea was short lived because it started storming right as he was about to get in the water. He's not happy.

Dave's sister passed away, so he's sadly indulging in his plate of leftover turkey dinner.

He was starting to smell a little, so Dave took a shower in the rain. Yes, it was still thundering.

While Chad and Cassidy were at work, Leilani was working on her Comedy skill and Dave was trying to distract himself by Trolling Teh Forums.

By the time Cassidy got home, he was feeling much better. So much so that he took Cassidy on a dinner date.

BUT, Dave had an ulterior motive. He wanted to propose to Cassidy after dinner! SHE SAID YES!!!

The couple next to them were trying to ignore them, but it didn't work very well. Congrats Cassidy and Dave! I'm still debating when we want the wedding held. It will be a really quick engagement (as in 1-2 Sim days). Elder male Sims can try for baby, so fortunately we can wait until the wedding to try for baby.

Cassidy and Dave were pretty tired, so they went off to bed. Chad was talking to Leilani when he remembered he had a painting he started but never finished. While he was finishing that, Leilani was finishing her bowl of chips.

After Chad finished painting, he went to bed. Ian decided to visit Leilani and try to get to know her a little better. I think Ian likes her.

That will wrap up today's trip to Newcrest! On our next visit, we'll have Cassidy and Dave's wedding! Then we'll see how far Chad and Leilani get in their relationship! I feel like we're getting pretty close to having some gen D babies! After next week, we will resume once a week posts. They'll be on Wednesdays at noon Eastern Time (same time they've always been)! Starting next week I want to incorporate some older games for a Throback Thursday and/or Flashback Friday streams! Wednesdays we work on our Sci-Fi space story!

Rags to Riches: Mansion Baron Part Thirteen

Last time we visited Camila, she got into a violin battle with an entertainer at the lounge. Camila also went to visit Candy Behr and her daughter Yuki. During the visit Yuki started a fire when she tried to make a grilled cheese sandwich.

Chester is serenading Camila while she eats leftover fish tacos.

Camila kept getting distracted by wanting to play with Shadow. She would paint for a few Sim minutes then find Shadow. It's frustrating when painting is her main source of income. When Camila gets closer to the 350,000 Simoleon mark, I will be redoing her house on stream. I do stream Sims 4 on Twitch usually 3-4 evenings/nights a week. Once she finally got the painting finished, Camila wanted to run a little on the treadmill. She loves working out in front of a window. She gets a beautiful view of her neighborhood while avoiding any potential bad weather. She also doesn't have to deal with stepping in pet poop.

After her run, she went to tend the garden. Chester and a stray kitty followed her there and sat while she watered and harvested the flowers. She eventually wants to start making kombucha (fizzy drinks), but she has to find room for a Juice Fizzing Station.

Meanwhile, inside the kitchen, Kitty is joined by a few stray cats. Camila really loves cats. 

Oh no Chester! She was asleep then she randomly decided to run away. Camila is devastated, but she knows Chester will come back. She always does. Chester was Camila's first feline friend.

Um what is this face, Camila? Sims truly make the funniest facial expressions! She's trying to stare down the punching bag.

While I was looking around for treasure boxes, I stumbled across the Sim jogging naked in the neighborhood. Side note, if your Sim lives in the dog or cat neighborhoods of Brindleton Bay, expect to find a load of little purple boxes scattered.

Tina Tinker came over to give Camila a gift. Tina is so nice and is always thinking of Camila. How nice of her. The gift was an electronic upgrade part. She's a Master Maker, yet all she gifts are upgrade parts.

Camila finally got a painting done! I had to lock the doors in order for her to finish. This one is a sad painting she did because she was feeling down. Chester running away affects her more than she leads on.

Then she started a small Pop Art painting. The only thing left for the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration is painting 5 Masterpieces. She only has one so far.

After she painted the second picture, she decided to dance a little to the Spooky radio station.

She forgot there was a gift pile in her office, so she opened a gift. I forget what it was but Camila liked it. Also this is the photo wall. This wall is covered in pictures of Shadow, Chester, and Kitty.

Shadow walks away as Camila stops playing with her. Camila is sure Shadow knows Chester ran away.

Then Camila decided to tend the bee box. That morning, there wasn't enough honey to harvest, but this time it's full. Camila learned a lot about bees, and they're now rarely "enraged." Most of the time they're either calm or irritated.

Here she is the next morning tending the garden. She loves having a greenhouse so her plants aren't restricted by seasons. Seasons is one of my favorite packs, but I don't like how sensitive the plants are to the seasons.

That wraps up today's trip to Brindleton Bay! I'm sorry it wasn't as eventful as most trips, but Camila is getting closer to achieving that aspiration! As I mentioned earlier, I will be redoing her house on stream when she gets closer to the 350,000 home value requirement. Right now she's getting close to 225,000.
