Rags to Riches Stage Four Part Six

Last time we visited Camila in Brindleton Bay, she was getting ready for her first Winterfest party. She also built her first ever snowman! She's so close to reaching the end of her aspiration, so she's really excited to start something new! I love that in Sims 4 you can change aspirations as much as you want and never lose your progress!

Here's another great picture of Camila's snowman! She did a great job and she hopes to make more before the snow goes away!

Camila's first annual Winterfest party is officially underway!! Camila takes every chance to wear her party outfit as she can! She loves the outfit so much!

Camila decided to try the ham dinner tonight because she made turkey for Harvestfest. Everyone loves it! Her friends tried to convince her to get into the culinary career, but she doesn't want a job. Plus your Sim can't work during the Rags to Riches challenge.

Father Winter made his annual appearance as well! He decided to converse with the guests after he added presents to the pile.

After dinner, it was present time! Father Winter was there to help present the presents to everyone! Camila let Alexander open his first because he's a child.

Father Winter went back to the North Pole (or wherever he lives when he's not making his rounds). Camila was shocked to see him just vanish in front of her fireplace. She thought the fireplace thing was just a myth.

The party was over a long time ago, but her friends didn't want to leave. Even Father Winter came back to help clean the house. Not many Sims (or people) would do that.

Even after the house was basically spotless, Camila's friends weren't quite ready to leave. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not. We shall see.

Father Winter, AKA Clement Frost, decided to sleep in Camila's bed. That's her bed dude! Camila doesn't have a guest bedroom, but this made her kinda of want one next time we go to renovate the house.

Camila woke him up so she could go to bed. She does have two lovely, comfortable couches for guests to sleep. At least he sleeps in boxers. Not all Sims do.

Instead of going to sleep on the couch like Camila suggested, Clement decided to go on her computer. Unfortunately for him Camila has nothing to hide and has a great reputation among the townies.

Camila had a great night sleep even with the guest in her bed. She did change the sheets before going to bed (I really wish that was an interaction that was part of Laundry Day!). She decided to start the cold winter morning with some lovely boxing. She's getting much better as her skill increases.

Her Winterfest lights look amazing with her red living room. The yellow works really well against that wall.

After her boxing session, Camila heard commotion, so she went downstairs to investigate. She also worked up a big appetite.

It turns out most of her party guests WERE STILL AT CAMILA'S HOUSE. Is this a common glitch? Has this ever happened to you? I've had seasons for over seven months and this is the first time this has happened (although these pictures are from June, but either way).

That concludes today's visit to Brindleton Bay! There will be about three (five tops) more parts then either we'll change to another save or continue to follow Camila and her kitties as she goes through the Mansion Baron aspiration! Keep an eye on my Twitter for gameplay polls!

Strangerville Part Eight

Welcome back to Strangerville! We last saw Aldo working out in Willow Creek's gym while Harmony was at home working on things for the mystery.

Aldo is here taking his typical post workout shower after an intense workout. He'd much rather have a bath, but showers will do.

The next day was Saturday. Harmony thought that was a perfect opportunity to make her and Aldo some delicious burgers. That didn't turn out too well. Harmony has level 3 cooking I think, so it's a little surprising that she caught fire along with the grill. I know what lifetime reward you're getting next, Miss Harmony Rainier.

After she cleaned herself up, she decided to venture to Strangerville's library to see if anyone could answer her questions. She also wanted to read a book or two. While she was there, her friend Robi Temple, who is a Scientist, told her it was Neighborhood Brawl day and he was going to fight her.

Fortunately neither one took the fight seriously, even though Harmony won. That gave her a nice confident moodlet for a couple hours.

Unfortunately, he was being stubborn and didn't give her any new information. That's okay, we'll get you later, Robi. We're watching you.

If you own Outdoor Retreat, you're able to have your Sims cloudgaze or stargaze with any Sim, regardless of relationship (although I have not tried this with Sims who hate each other). It's an easy way to get your Sims Inspired and increase their friendship with the Sim of their/your choice. To show they were still friends, Robi and Harmony decided to cloudgaze outside the library. Luckily for them, it's a nice day with not too many clouds out.

But when they got back in the library after a successful cloudgazing section, Robi decided to fight Harmony again! I'm not sure how she got in the air, but good move Harmony! The military definitely teaches Sims a thing or two about fights and self defense.

It looks like Robi may have gotten the last hit of this fight, but he didn't win. Once again, Harmony's wit and quick moves were exactly what she needed to beat Robi twice in the same afternoon. These fights happened about four hours from each other. Neighborhood Brawl Day is definitely an interesting one.

After she couldn't get any answers out of Robi, she decided to take what little findings she could home and relax a little. She did stop at the Curio shop and bought a Hazmat suit. We will see what she can do with that later. Aldo is doing his thing and Trolling Teh Forums again. He really loves messing with people. Fortunately most realize he's just kidding.

While Aldo is on the computer, Harmony unwound with some hilarious comedy shows. She loves late night shows but can rarely watch them with her work schedule. She's grateful the TV network shows the reruns throughout the day.

Uh oh, Harmony still hasn't solved the problem of vines in the plumbing. Oh hey Aldo, sorry to invade your, uhh, session.

Early Monday morning, Harmony had to tell Aldo what she's been finding out about Strangerville and the lab, so they met in their downstairs secret lab. Only Harmony and Aldo can come down here; the door is locked for everyone else.

While Aldo went upstairs to eat some yogurt, Harmony decided to spar against the bot. It was decent practice, but she much prefers going against Aldo. At least she knows she won't break Aldo because he's built like a brick. Unfortunately the spar session didn't go too well and Harmony went to work with an Embarrassed moodlet.

That concludes our visit to Strangerville! I really hope Harmony solves this mystery soon; cleaning out vines from toilets, sinks and showers gets really repetitive after a while. Also I want to get started on their next phase of life.

Not So Berry Mint Gen Part Eight

When we last saw the Berry family, Ross had just aged up to a teen. He was an A student in elementary school, and he hopes to keep that up, as well as potentially find a girlfriend to start his Serial Romantic aspiration.

Nina and Mitchell are discussing whether or not Mitchell should retire his job in the Scientist career. "Nina, I need to make it as far in the career as I can. If I retire now, I won't make nearly as much money and we'd have to mostly rely on your paintings, which are amazing by the way."

After their conversation, Nina and Mitchell decided they should try to woohoo at least one more time. Mitchell wants to move before he and Nina pass away, and this could very well have been the last woohoo they did in their current home.

Meanwhile, Ross is doing some sort of deep breathing exercise. He occasionally wakes up angry because he has the Hot Headed trait.

While Mitchell was at work the next day, he had to talk to some townies (aka "tourists"). When he first arrived, Summer Holiday was making beans on the grill. Summer really has aged nicely. She's such a great townie.

Mitchell is talking to Bella Goth, who looks like she just finished a workout and another townie whose name I forgot, while Eliza Pancakes was walking away. She never was the type to converse like they are.

Eliza Pancakes works out? I guess she does need to keep her lean physique in order to continue being mean to other Sims.

When Mitchell got back to the lab, he mind controlled his coworkers into changing into their pajamas. He finds so much humor in doing this, while his coworkers are almost wanting an intervention.

Since Marisol died, he has to turn either Keisha or Don's clothes twice to hit the daily requirement. On the second round he decided to have Keisha change into her activewear.

That's going to wrap up our visit to the Berry family of Oasis Springs! Next time we'll try to focus more on Ross, since Mitchell is pretty advanced in age. Also Ross is our Rose Gen heir, so we need to learn more about him as he makes his journey through his teenage years and into adulthood.

A to Z Batista Legacy Gen B Part Four

Last time we saw the Batista clan, Bethany had fallen in love with Ian Lytle, the trainer from Willow Creek's gym. Bort and Afro also had a precious little girl named Cassidy Batista. Sometimes I can't believe how quickly these generations come and go. As I'm writing this post, I'm already on generation C with Cassidy and she is incredible.

We start today off by finding toddler Cassidy bonding with her aunt Bethany. Alec and Jordan's goal was always to keep family as close as possible. Let's just hope it stays that way. So far so good.

Ian decided to start painting since he's seen Bort and Bethany do it so much. He asked Bethany to paint next to him in case he needed help or advice. Painting is a lovely Batista hobby. It's also how they could afford this beautiful home and all the best things.

Oh, here we have an impromptu family gathering while Afro is at work. Ian is hyping Bethany up for something, while Bort is working hard at getting Cassidy potty trained. Bort is a great father so far.

Now the Batistas, along with Ian, are having a conversation. Bort asks, "so how long until you lovebirds get married? Afro and I heard you two the other day and wow." Bethany laughed and replied, "It's not as bad as when Afro got pregnant with Cassidy. Let me tell you, that was something." 

Well, Bort your wish was Ian's command. Ian wanted to make sure he caught Bethany as off guard as he possibly could, and he did an amazing job. Bethany was sure he'd ask on their next date, but Ian couldn't wait. Bort looks pleased with himself for asking. Based on how Bethany has been around Ian, her answer was obviously yes.

The next day Bort decided to paint a little. This is latest masterpiece. Bort paints quite a few masterpieces, but nowhere near as many as his father Alec did.

Even though Bethany wasn't pregnant at this time, Ian didn't want to wait. He was pressured by his family to marry another girl, but they had a big fight, so it didn't work out. Ian met Bethany while she was working out, and immediately knew she was the one. As I mentioned in the last part, this wedding venue is on my Gallery page (PhilliesPOPster5) and it's called Wedding Venue. Bethany and Ian were surrounded by their closest friends and family while they celebrated their newly found and hopefully never ending love.

Here are closeups of the beautiful bride and handsome groom. Bethany is glad that she found such an amazing man like Ian and hopes everyone is as happy as she is.

Congrats to the very happy couple! So now we have Bort Batista, who married Bryanna (Afro) Crane-Batista, their daughter Cassidy Batista, Bethany Batista and her new husband Ian Lytle-Batista. Do you think they'll wait to have children or will they go right into parenthood? Will they only have one child or multiples? We shall find out next time we visit the lovely Batista family!
