Strangerville Part Fourteen (contains Strangerville Mystery spoilers!)

Last time we visited our friends Harmony and Aldo, Harmony was getting closer to perfecting the infection vaccine! She has a little more testing to do, then she's ready to cure Sims of this awful infection and bring peace back to Strangerville! Since I really want to finish out the mystery in 2019, this post and next month's post will be longer than normal.

I'm assuming this is one of the entrances to Aldo and Harmony's neighborhood. It is really cute, but it also doesn't lead anywhere.

Harmony struts her stuff after a long and stressful night at work. She's so relieved to be close to solving the mystery!

To relax a little, she decided to unwind with some much needed yoga. She is getting quite good and flexible. She loves doing yoga after stressful work days.

The next day she was about to test the vaccine on Ted, but he snapped back to normal right as she approached him. Fortunately he had a few minutes to talk before going home to his wife Meredith.

She was about to go back home, then she saw Possessed Amir. She decided to see if it worked on him since Ted wasn't possessed anymore. For any inquiring minds, the "Possessed" moodlet only lasts for two hours.

I love Sims' initial reactions to the vaccine being spilled on them. I do wish it was more like an actual vaccine rather than a drink but it's fine.

It worked! Harmony has officially found the cure! On her next day off she plans on making two more doses. She did ask him if he wanted to join her in stopping the Mother, but he very rudely refused. What a jerk. Also this face is kinda creepy. Really Amir?

The second Harmony walked away, Amir fell asleep in the street. Fortunately there are no cars, or else he would've gotten run over.

Aldo is home and pretty tense! Even when he's tense he still looks great. It's okay, Aldo. Once Harmony defeats the Mother, you two will go on a super nice and romantic vacation to beautiful Granite Falls!

Harmony sometimes dreams of cold weather, so she decided to watch sports. She couldn't imagine living anywhere but Strangerville though.

On her next day off, Harmony went back to the lab to create more vaccines. She loves this lab. It really sparks her nerdy side.

She went to the bar to find any possessed Sims. When she got there, she saw Robi! She didn't tell him she had a cure for the infection because he's a Scientist. They did discuss how much longer they think Strangerville would have the infected Sims and Bizarre Plants.

Upon entering the bar, she saw Ted was possessed. Since she already kind of knows Ted, she decided to vaccinate and cure him.

At first he was a little upset about Harmony spilling something on him, but he was fine when he realized he was rid of the infection!

Harmony asked Ted if he'd join her in defeating the Mother and he said yes! So now she has one Sim on her team. She needs to cure one more Sim and find two to help her out. Maybe she'll convince Amir to join her. We shall see.

Aldo can't wait for these vines to stop growing in their plumbing. He's getting tired of either cleaning them himself or asking Harmony to do it.

Harmony found another Sim to vaccinate! This is Possessed __ and he was just walking by the house when she decided to rid him of the awful infection. They never met before this, but Harmony does remember seeing him around town every now and then.

He seemed even more offended by Harmony vaccinating him than Amir and Ted did. Maybe that's because they hadn't met before this.

Harmony asked him if he wanted to join her in defeating the Mother, and he very rudely refused. So she decided to let him be. "Fine. I'll find someone who's actually pleasant to be around to help me. I don't need help from a jerk like you," she said sternly as she walked back home.

That'll wrap up this trip to Strangerville! We only have one more trip before the end of the year, so Harmony will have to defeat the Mother in December! Remember to keep an eye on my Twitter to see what Harmony and Aldo's next adventure will be! Hope my fellow Americans have an amazing Thanksgiving and be extra safe if you are a Black Friday shopper! :) I am spending the week with my mom, who I haven't seen since April! Next week we go back to Brindleton Bay to see Camila and the kitties!

Not So Berry Rose Gen Part One

Today we kick off the Rose Generation of the Not So Berry Challenge! I will be following the Base Game Rules since I do not own all the packs needed for the challenge. If you do own all the packs, here is what the Rose Generation is all about. The rules don't differ too much in this generation, but there are huge differences between Politics and Business.

What is the first thing Ross does as heir to the Berry legacy? Go to the bar. That's not exactly what most Sims would do, but Ross has had a hard time lately.

When he was done at the bar, Ross wanted to get a workout in. He wants to become fit so he can be more efficient at work. Those are some great goals, Ross. Keep it up.

He also met one of the trainers at the gym and she was so helpful. She mentored Ross and gave him advice and techniques he can use to achieve the best results.

Happy Winterfest! Ross is making a Ham Dinner. Yum! He plans on inviting all his friends over so he won't have as many leftovers.

It was still too early for Ross to invite his friends over, so he decided to watch some TV. I forget what channel this is; I think it's the Romance channel.

Whatever show he was watching made him bored. I hate that snobby Sims are bored from watching TV shows.

He was browsing the web for a bit. Although I caught him between pages of whatever his search is.

Around 6PM, Ross invited his friends over for a lovely ham dinner. He even invited his old crush Scarlet (who is still a teen; she's at the end with the headband) and his current crush Brooklynn, who is seated next to Scarlet (she's the one with the braids and tank top).

Father Winter came at 8PM as always. Ross asked him for a gift, but he didn't really like it. He got a Future Cube.

On the plus side he achieved one of his Winterfest goals! Way to go Ross!

Ross was trying to talk to Brooklynn, but Leah kept interrupting, hence his side eye. He hates being interrupted.

When Scarlet was done, Father Winter took her spot. Brooklynn and Ross exchanged flirty glances. Brooklynn is a really pretty Sim.

When everyone was done eating, Ross asked Brooklynn to open a present with him. This time Ross got a digital camera, which he was really happy to receive!

Ross found the dance party downstairs. "Why aren't you upstairs dancing?" He asked. "There's a ton more space here, Ross! Dance with us!" Brooklynn replied.

But by the time Ross joined the dance party, the party was over. He loves to dance, but hates when he misses the fun.

After the party, and when Ross had gone to bed, Father Winter was still there. No this isn't a situation like Camila had when Clement wouldn't leave. This Father Winter's name is James I think.

This wraps up today's trip to Oasis Springs! Will Brooklynn and Ross become an item? Will she be the one? I know he'll need to have a lot of girl/boyfriends, so we shall see. When Scarlet becomes a teen, I may try to woo her as well! Next week we venture back to Strangerville to see how close Harmony is to solving the mystery! These next couple Strangerville parts will be longer than normal because I want to finish the mystery before the end of 2019.

A to Z Batista Legacy Gen B Part Ten

This is the last post with generation B (aka Bort and Bethany)! Whenever a new generation takes over my legacies, I get so excited because I wonder how the heirs will do. I also get a little sad because sometimes you really bond with the characters, similar to how people can be with television, book and movie characters. Most people don't make that type of connection with Sims, but there are definitely similarities.

Cassidy is still mourning over her parents, so she decided to use working out as her coping mechanism. She says it's nice to distract herself sometimes.

Bethany knows her last days are coming. She's looking at the obituaries to see who among her friends has passed on. Shockingly I think Chelsie the maid is still around. She was either an adult or an elder when Bort and Bethany were toddlers.

Bethany is telling a story...to the centerpiece? I think Chad is actually on the other side of it.

Alec decided to help shovel some snow even though it's not necessary. It is nice that ghosts can autonomously do some things around the house even when there isn't anything to do.

Alec still looks great as always. At least I'm pretty sure this is Alec. Bort's winter clothes are different.

Ghostly dance party in the basement! Afro and Alec are having a ball while the others are asleep.

This is a funny glitch I've gotten a few times with different Sims. Bethany is holding the laundry but the bag is shown on her back. Has anyone else seen this happen with their Sims?

It's time to party the Batista way! It's Winterfest, and Bethany is glad to celebrate one last time with Chad and Cassidy! Also look at the way her hair looks! I love the gray/turquoise look!

Cassidy looks great in her party outfit too! Look at that makeup look! I need a tutorial ASAP, Cassidy.

One Batista tradition Bethany is teaching Chad and Cassidy is that they love to sing around the tree. Chad is warming up by the fire, but he'll join in a minute. Winter in Newcrest can be pretty cold.

Bethany is unsure how much time she has left, so she decided to make a cup of tea. Tea always helps her feel more relaxed and comfortable. Plus it tastes good.

Uh oh. Bethany's time has come! Maybe it was the tea.

Hello again, Grim. It's never too pleasant to see you around my Sims' homes. I wish this visit was on better terms.

Cassidy was unfortunately walking to wake her Aunt Bethany up when she saw Grim taking her. "Grim!" She gasped. "Not Aunt Bethany!"

"I'm sorry Cassidy. It has to be this way." Grim carried on his duty and left the urn. "As a ghost she will visit anytime she feels like it."

I love that even ghosts can be saddened by the death of a Sim.

Grim is making himself at home for a minute by making some coffee. Let's hope he didn't add anything "special" to it.

Right as he finished his cup of coffee, he vanished! Chad is relieved to see him go away. He hates seeing Grim because it means death. Same, Chad, same.

Well, that wraps up Generation B of the Batista Legacy! Next time we visit Newcrest, it'll be all about Chad and Cassidy!
