Rags to Riches: Mansion Baron Part Five

Last time we visited Camila and the kitties, Kitty got sick and Chester came back from running away.

I apologize for the quality (this was taken on my phone) but this is the first time I've ever gotten this from cats. There was one more that said that after this was taken. Camila is a crazy cat lady so her house has the Cat Hangout lot trait.

This is the cat that gave the first notification, Porkchop. Mayor Whiskers was the second.

Right before he left, Mayor Whiskers wanted to take a ride on the robot vacuum. Unfortunately for him it wasn't time for it to make its rounds.

Camila's good friend Easton Kirkpatrick came over. She mentioned something about going to his house someday so she can meet his family. He said maybe.

Camila is back to painting. She also has the Natural Lighting lot trait, so she will build creative skills faster. She mastered the painting skill long ago.

Camila forgot it was Spooky Day! She still had a little time so she decided to dress as a mailwoman.

She also barely had enough time to carve a pumpkin before the holiday ended. The only thing she didn't do was hand candy out to neighborhood children and teens.

The next day Camila was craving some crown roast. She made an excellent one and she can't stop thinking about it.

She's taking a second to appreciate how hard she's worked to get where she is and how much she loves cats. Cats are her absolute favorite.

Stray Pici looks on as stray Asparagus decides to fight Chester. Camila walked around it to get upstairs and now she is questioning keeping the Cat Hangout lot trait. Some stray cats love picking fights with either Chester, Shadow or Kitty. 

Camila always has to get in her workouts! Does anyone else have an issue with Active Sims getting tense from "Not Enough Exercise" even though they just worked out? Is this a common glitch? Aldo and many of my other Active Sims have the same issue.

After her workout Camila was feeling inspired. And of course Shadow and Chester have to fight right next to her. I think they play fight but I can never be sure.

Happy Harvestfest Camila! She is celebrating by making a turkey grand meal. She plans on inviting friends over later to celebrate it. She loves spending holidays with her friends :)

Chester is about as curious as Sim cats can get. She always has to know what Camila is doing. Here she is "supervising" Camila while the grand meal is baking.

While Camila works on the last part of the Mansion Baron aspiration, I figured I might as well have her go through the Painting Extraordinaire one as well.

Ooh she painted a masterpiece! Over time I have been able to get Camila the reward traits that allow her to paint more masterpieces and make more money from her paintings.

That wraps up today's trip to Brindleton Bay! Next week we catch up with Chad and Cassidy and see what they're up to!

Strangerville Part Nineteen

I apologize for this post being so late. I've been crazy busy doing things to prepare for social distancing from the virus. I recently got Get Together so expect to see some Windenburg adventures once Aldo finishes the Strangerville aspiration :)

Aldo is practicing his speech so he can impress his supervisors. He's determined to get promoted this week.

Robi wanted to come over so Aldo took a break. Robi asked about the paintings so Aldo explained each of them and mentioned Harmony had passed while she was working on the one above the Baby Yoda.

Aldo has always been into music so he decided to buy a guitar and learn to play.

It's New Year's Eve! So that's why Robi wanted to come over. They're sharing memories of the past year and wonder what the next one will bring.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALDO AND ROBI! May this next Sim year be the year the Mother is defeated!

Aldo wished Harmony had visited that night. She loved New Year's Eve. He's doing pretty well but he misses her a lot.

Just as Aldo was going to bed look who decided to pop in and visit! I like when Harmony visits, but it gets really annoying when ghosts break almost all the tubs, showers and sinks in the house. Ugh.

It's Sunday, so Aldo decided to spend his day off fixing the broken things and getting the vines out of the toilets. Soon you won't have that issue, Aldo.

He didn't realize the radios downstairs had also broken, so he fixed them too.

One of Aldo's goals for this Sim year is cooking more and trying as many new recipes as he can. He decided to try some Pasta Primavera. It looks great, Aldo :)

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I recently got Get Together. I'm not sure how long the packs will be on sale, but I recommend getting as many as you can before it ends! I'm having a blast with Windenburg and the townies are great as well. Aldo was invited to his first party at the Ancient Ruins. Of course his first stop was the bar.

While he was waiting for his drink he decided to dance a little and mingle with some of the others. Here's Katrina Caliente with another townie and Candy Behr.

Cassandra, are you sure you want to be here? Mortimer is in there partying and it wouldn't be a great idea for him to see you out here.

That same night Aldo was invited to join the Powerhouse Club. They're all about fitness, and that's the one thing Aldo loves more than almost anything! So of course he had to say yes! Even if their gathering was at like 2am on a Monday morning.

Aldo decided to get a good workout in and then go home and sleep a little. The gym in Windenburg is really nice and he likes it a lot. I'm glad you like it, Aldo.

That will wrap up this week's trip to Strangerville! Next week we shall see what Camila and the kitties have been up to. Maybe she'll start a club with fellow cat lovers in Brindleton Bay (and maybe include Catarina Lynx?) We shall see. Have a great week everyone and stay safe!

Not So Berry Rose Gen Part Five

On our last trip to Oasis Springs, Brooklynn and Ross finally woohooed!! I may have her move in then work on the romance aspiration. It's easier to date other Sims when a SO is in your household. We shall see. But let's see what Ross does today!

I built a really nice spa/gym and Ross decided to visit it one day. Here he is in a yoga class. He has recently discovered yoga as a way to relax after stressful days at work.

This spa is on the gallery but I forget what packs I used. Sometimes I only use Spa Day and Fitness Stuff, but I'm not sure if this is one of those builds. It's called Tranquil Oasis Spa. Here is the entrance.

When you turn left at the entrance you see massage tables and chairs. There are three of each.

Behind the fountain at the entrance you see three meditation stools and a mini yoga studio. I love the floor to ceiling lights from Spa Day. They really help separate a room without walls.

This is what your Sims see when they go upstairs.

The rooms on the left are saunas. There are two for male Sims and two for female Sims. Of course if you download this you can change it. Sims can build their fitness skill any way they wish. There is also a mini locker room where Sims can leave their valuables while they workout, relax or get a massage. Lastly there is a bar where Sims can get a protein shake after they pump some iron or even get a juice to relax some more ;)

Here is a view of the upstairs. There are four showers and four bathrooms so many Sims can do their thing without having to worry about walking in on someone (which will probably happen anyway because Sims)

Ross wanted a nice massage after his yoga class. He definitely feels tranquil at Tranquil Oasis Spa.

I forget her name but I kinda like this masseuse. Maybe she will be a future love interest? Hmmm.

Ross feels rejuvinated. It's getting late, so he figured he should go home because he works in the morning. He will be back. He really likes it.

Ross was craving microwave oatmeal so he made some. He doesn't get cravings for microwaved food very often.

He was working on something at work that he couldn't stop thinking about. Before he did anything else, he decided to fill out those reports so he could finally relax. Good job on not procrastinating, Ross.

I love keeping a flirty painting above my Sims' bed so they wake up flirty. Ross is practicing his poses for when he gets his next girl.

That will wrap up this trip to Oasis Springs! Next time we'll focus more on moving Brooklynn into the Berry home and maybe do some stuff with other girls. I also hope you enjoyed the tour of Tranquil Oasis Spa. It is on my gallery to download as well as many other builds and Sims I've done over the last couple years :)

A to Z Batista Legacy Gen C Part Four

Last time we visited Newcrest not too much happened. Chad entered the Painter career, and Cassidy was working toward a promotion that will take her to either be a Professional Athlete or Bodybuilder.

Cassidy is working out as she does quite a bit. Her days (when she's not at work) basically go like this: sleep, workout, pee, shower, eat, repeat. Sometimes she paints or plays games but not as often as Chad.

Chad had a fun day at work. He inhaled paint fumes from some event, so he's Derpy and Dazed. I love Dazed Sim faces.

Cassidy spent the time to make some delicious spaghetti, and what does Chad do? EAT CAKE. Cassidy isn't too happy with his decision.

It's time to watch the premiere of Game of Llamas! Cassidy and Chad watch all the new shows together, so they had to wait until everything was done to watch it. They loved it!

Even Bethany wanted some of Cassidy's spaghetti. Cassidy is telling Bethany that Chad took a piece of cake rather than her fresh and delicious spaghetti.

Cassidy is painting! She hasn't done this in a while and it feels good. I love the unique paintings Sims can paint. I feel like the Gurus keep adding paintings in there. I love it.

Chad had a little time before work so he wanted to paint a small picture. When he finished he admired Cassidy's piece. Their home is full of random paintings from all previous generations. My goal is to have at least one painting from each generation. So far I have a lot.

I changed the Love Day celebrations, so one of them is now drinking. Cassidy is making herself a preworkout juice. She says it helps her because she has to concentrate harder. I'm not sure how that helps but you do you Cassidy.

It's a beautiful day so she figured it was a great time to go for a jog. Plus she had to jog for her Bodybuilder Aspiration.

She was going to order food from the vendor at the top of this pic but she decided to talk to this random Sim who was grilling fruit. She let Cassidy take a plate. That was super nice of her.

Chad painted his first Masterpiece! He calls this "Face of Pink." He is still working on his names.

Chad gets frustrated at all the ghosts breaking the plumbing. He wishes they'd fix things rather than just clean up the messes they make.

While Cassidy was at work, Chad decided to take a trip to the Museum. He wants to see what kind of works make it this far. He likes what he's seeing; a lot of music and architecture inspired artwork. He's good at that.

After he viewed some of the art, he wanted to paint his own. While he was painting, this Sim started talking to him. Fortunately Chad has never been a Sim that gets easily distracted while painting. When he's focused, nothing gets in his way.

Cassidy loves running and watching sports. The athletes inspire and motivate her so much. The mats are a career reward she earned that day. She has chosen to be....a BODYBUILDER! She's super excited to be able to go on this journey and I'm excited to see what this path is like (normally I choose the Professional Athlete path).

The next day she was sore and a little lazy after work. So she wanted to take a muscle relaxing bath. "Hmmm, I need to take more of these. The water is perfectly warm and it smells so good in here. Fortunately Chad was doing his thing.

That's going to wrap up this trip to Newcrest! Yay for Cassidy choosing the Bodybuilder path! Yay for Chad painting his first masterpiece! On our next visit we may see if there are any romantic interests for them. Chad has his eye on someone but she's a teen. For now anyway.
