Not So Berry Mint Gen Part Twelve

After this part, we have one more then it's officially up to Ross! I have high hopes for the romantic and business savvy Sim, but we shall see.

We're starting this part of with a bang! Poor Nina has seen her final day. She was asleep then woke up and died. Honestly we expected it but it's always sad when a Sim dies. I'm a little happy she passed before Mitchell because he's the founder.

Nina Caliente-Berry died peacefully in her bedroom. Mitchell and Ross had to see what was happening and they can't believe what they saw. Mitchell is sad the love of his life is now gone and Ross is sad his mother has passed on. It's almost Ross' time to shine!

Mitchell and Ross have some unconventional ways of coping with sadness. One of them is playing lots of chess, which is Mitchell's favorite game!

Mitchell's sadness didn't check itself at the door of the Lab. Even with his shenanigans, he was still really sad. I guess I'd be sad too if I lost my lover. *shrug*

After a long talk about the family legacy, Mitchell and Ross comfort each other. It's always hard having these discussions, but Ross will be fine. Mitchell and Nina have been great parents.

It's Spooky Day! Mitchell decided to dress up as a pizza delivery boy, which brought him back to his childhood. He always looked up to the pizza guy for some reason.

Ross, on the other hand, wanted to become an Astronaut for the day. He even stopped gaming to dress up. That's some serious stuff for a teenage boy.

Trick or Treat? It looks like this Sim got a trick! Better luck next time?

The bowl seemed to not want to be touched when Ross snuck a piece of candy.

While Mitchell was at work, some familiar faces decided to show up. Brent Hecking and Bob Pancakes had a discussion, but I guess Brent wanted to haunt someone.

Don Lothario, Mitchell's best friend, visited for what may be the last time (I'm pretty sure it was). He intensely stared down the Sparring robot (which I always forget the name of)

That does it for the second to last part of Not So Berry Mint Generation! I can't believe Mitchell is almost gone! It seems like last week he was a young adult and now he's an elder!

A to Z Batista Legacy Gen B Part Eight

Last time we visited Newcrest, Bethany had just become an elder and started mentoring Cassidy in Painting. 

We start this part off with what could be Afro and Bort's last woohoo? Since both are elders, it's hard to tell! I think woohoo is one of the only physical activities that doesn't cause the uncomfortable moodlet.

Ian and Bethany decided to follow suit with woohoo. I'm glad they're still doing things together even in their old age.

The following day we have another birthday! Chad is becoming a teen! Now he can start building skills for whatever career he wants to have!

He looks like the coolest kid around (even though I'll change his outfits first chance I get) 

After a short workout and all the birthday festivities, Bort and Bethany were exhausted.

Woah, what are Bort and Afro doing? They made a deal to woohoo every night until one of them died from old age.

Well that didn't last long. Afro came back upstairs from the basement and died. Well the first generation B Sim has officially died, leaving us one step closer to Cassidy and Chad taking over the family legacy!

Oh no Bort and Ian! I'm so sorry you had to see this! :( 

Cassidy takes her mind off her mother passing away by dancing. Dancing and music have always helped Cassidy distract herself from less than ideal moods.

Ian wanted to be the first to dress up for Spooky Day! He dressed up as the Llama mascot! It makes me want a sports pack where Sims can play a variety of sports!

Not wanting to miss out on the fun, Bethany was second to dress up! She is a commander.

Ian and Chad did some nice bonding over grilled food. Ian wanted to give Chad his best grilling tips because he and Cassidy will need to take turns cooking until they get married.

Meanwhile Cassidy and her aunt Bethany were painting some beautiful pictures. Bethany is always happy to help, especially when it comes to painting! She also gave some cooking tips.

That concludes this trip to Newcrest! We only have a couple parts left with Bort, Bethany and Ian. then it's all up to Cassidy and Chad! My plan is to do every career at least once! That way I can see how every career goes. If there are branches, like in the Culinary or Military career, I will have one Sim do each branch.

Rags to Riches Stage Four Part Nine

I hope everyone had a great summer! I enjoyed doing twice a week posts, but it's great to be back to once a week! :)
This is the last official part of the challenge! The next post on Camila (October 9) I will share pictures of her newly renovated home and! In November we will start following her through the Mansion Baron aspiration!

Camila is sad that Shadow ran away again. She hopes wherever Shadow is that she's being taken care of and is happy.

She also took her sadness out on the plants. They're always willing to listen, even though they can't offer any insight.

Camila wanted to play with Chester so she did. The next two pictures are first-person pictures from Chester's POV. Remember, hit Shift + Tab and you can turn First-Person View on and off. Use the arrow keys to switch between Sims and pets!

Shadow came back! And Camila's good friend Alexander came over. Maybe he's good luck?

I love all the unique paintings Sims can make in this game! 

I decided to make Camila's home a Cat Hangout (Lot trait) and as a result lots of stray kitties hang out with Chester and Shadow! Will Camila decide she wants another member of the family? We shall see.

With the kitty festivities Shadow and a stray decide to take a nap while listening to Winter Holiday. Does anyone else leave Winter Holiday music on all Sim year? Ever since I watched SimGuru Steve's idle holiday stream in December and January, I've been OBSESSED with the Winter Holiday music and Kids TV program.

Shadow missed playing Laser Pointer with Camila! I love how the color of the laser depends on the Sims' moods and it adds so much fun to it! I love pet interactions!

I forget what her resolution was, but Camila was super happy to do it and achieve her aspiration goal! Camila, you did it! You went from ZERO Simoleons to completing your fortune aspiration!

That concludes the *official* Rags to Riches Challenge! I can't believe it's actually over! We will follow Camila through the Mansion Baron aspiration then either follow her to starting a family or start a new adventure! Next time we visit Brindleton Bay I will share pictures of Camila's newly designed home! It turned out beautifully and it is on the Gallery!!

Strangerville Part Eleven (Spoiler: This post contains pictures of the bottom of the Secret Lab)

Today is an exciting day for me IRL. I am in Orlando, Florida for an event called BookNet Fest! I went last year and have been so excited for this year's event! Anyway, let's get to today's adventure!
Last time we were in Strangerville, Harmony chose to be in the Covert Operations branch of the Military career and Aldo chose the Officer branch. We are also over halfway done the Strangerville Mystery! Harmony still wants to solve the mystery, while Aldo decided he wants to improve his already great physique.

Since Aldo and Harmony basically have opposite work shifts, they don't see each other as much. Aldo decided to play some Blicblock when he got off work. It's easily his favorite game!

After he got his fun up, he decided to go for a swim. Aldo loves that Strangerville is nice and warm all year. He's always been into swimming and gets mad when it's too cold to swim. It's a great way to burn some calories and have some fun.

Wow, Aldo! He is level 6 Fitness, but has reached maximum muscle mass for a Sim. And he is JACKED. All that time spent doing early morning and late night workouts has really paid off for him. Harmony likes it too. ;)

I accidentally took this a few seconds too late. The toilet and sink had vines in it. Aldo had to remove and clean everything before he could use it. He hates the vines and wish Harmony would solve this mystery already.

When Harmony woke up the next morning, she did the same thing.

Aldo was at work, so she decided to invite her Scientist friend Robi over. He said when she got everything together he'd help her make the Hazmat Suit. Harmony never mentioned why she needed it, and Robi never asked. Although the bathroom is a strange place to ask for things like that.

After it was assembled, they took the conversation to the living room. Harmony asked if Robi was hungry but he had just eaten.

Harmony suddenly felt woozy. "After this I need to find some medicine," she told herself as Robi went upstairs to do some yoga then go on the computer (as most Sims do when they come over).

She feels much better. I have no idea what is in Sim medicine, but I wish real-life medicine was this potent and affordable!

Also, can we appreciate how beautiful Harmony is? Seriously she is so pretty!

Soon enough, Robi went home and Aldo got done work. He and Harmony are discussing how different their jobs are now that they're in different branches. Both branches of the Military career bring in the same amount of money, but the hours are much different.

They caught up on all the events going on in Strangerville. "Just in...One of the reporters for our sister station just ate one of those fruits and now she's acting like a zombie. Who will stop this and when will this end?"

One of the requirements for Harmony's promotion is working on her logic skill. The best way to get it up is one of my favorite Sims past times, CHESS! I'm terrible at chess IRL, but I love watching my Sims play it.

Harmony decided that while it was still early, she'd venture to the Secret Lab and try to work on the mystery some more. She's almost 3/4 done already! :D She also got another weird Sim cold. I love the weird markings they get when they're sick. It'd make IRL colds less boring lol

Omg I love this so much! So Harmony unlocked all the doors to the  Secret Lab! I LOVE the detail they added to the walls! The vines are so beautiful and vibrant!

This is what your Sim walks through before they get to where Harmony is. The Sims team put so much effort into the Lab and it truly shows! When we finish the mystery, I'll say how I feel about it and what I liked/disliked about it.

Well, that'll wrap up this adventure in Strangerville! I can't believe we're getting so close to solving the mystery and finding the source of the infection!

Also, sorry not sorry that you'll have to wait for the next Strangerville post to find out what the Mother looks like! That's also the spoiler alert: if you haven't yet solved the mystery (or don't want to know how it ends), I'd recommend not reading the next few Strangerville posts. I'll have at the most three more Strangerville posts. At this point Harmony is over 3/4 done solving the mystery. After she's done, we'll continue following Aldo and Harmony through both branches of the Military career. Currently they're on level 6.
