Evergreen Harbor Bonus: Aldo and Harmony's makeover!

 Since Aldo and Harmony have moved from Strangerville to Evergreen Harbor, I figured it made sense to give them a makeover.

We'll start with Aldo's makeover. I kept his hairstyle and shoes and changed his shirt and pants to some from Eco Lifestyle. It still captures his style but in a slightly different way.

Since he was in the Military, I figured I'd have him wear his uniform to formal events. He likes green so I went with the dark green/teal swatch.

His activewear changed a little. He's still wearing joggers and a tank top, but a different pair of joggers and a different tank top.

I kept his pajamas the same since there wasn't anything that stood out too much.

For his party outfit, I had him wear this cool butterfly jersey with skinny jeans and I think the shoes are from Get Together. I also gave him an updo that made him look cool and somewhat hipster.

I also didn't change his swimwear because I like how it looks on him.

I really like this plumbob shirt, so I have him wearing the blue one with sunglasses and shorts. I'm pretty sure his shoes are still the same as they were.

His winter clothes didn't change much either. I mostly just changed his hoodie/jacket and added a beanie. I love how Aldo's style has changed and he looks so buff compared to when we first met him. 

Now onto Harmony! It's harder to see what she's wearing because she's a ghost, but I'll do my best to tell you what she decided to change into. I changed her into this cute white dress from Eco Lifestyle. I didn't mess with her jewelry or makeup. I changed her hair to one from Eco Lifestyle. She's wearing white boots from Laundry Day Stuff.

She is wearing her Military uniform with an updo from Luxury Party Stuff. Harmony made it to level 9 of the Military career.

I had Harmony wear this cute top from Fitness Stuff and paired it with some pants from Eco Lifestyle. I didn't change her shoes. I had her hairstyle as the pigtail braids from Eco Lifestyle.

I changed her pajamas to the base game ones with blue and green. I paired them with a blue tank top.

Her party outfit is still the same. I love how she looks as "Bella Goth," so I had to keep this.

I changed her swimsuit to the Plumbob one from Moschino Stuff. I really like this swimsuit and it works really well for Harmony. I paired it with one of the updos from Eco Lifestyle. I love the hairs that came with the pack.

I love this romper from Eco Lifestyle and it suits Harmony perfectly for the summer. She looks great in it, even as a ghost.

I also didn't change anything from her winter outfit. I like how it looks, so I didn't want to mess with anything.

That wraps up Aldo and Harmony's makeover! I wanted to keep their original style while adding some bits of Evergreen Harbor. I love the items from this pack, so it's definitely a great pick for them. When the base game update comes out, I may have them vacation in another world! Keep an eye on Twitter to vote where we take the Sims on vacation! I won't take all four families at the same time, but we'll do one at a time. We'll start that in December.

Evergreen Harbor Part One

I'm sorry this is going up late. I really need to get better at posting things on time lol. Today was pretty busy with Halloween being tomorrow.

Since Aldo is in Evergreen Harbor now, I figured we'd change the name. It only makes sense. I have set everything so Port Promise stayed autonomously Industrial. Now Aldo will work to make it Green. Harmony will help, but not a ton. She'll mostly be working on her skills and such.

Bess Sterling came to greet Aldo and Harmony to Port Promise. She's a little smitten by Aldo playing guitar. He just hit level 3 of the skill. 

Harmony overheard Bess talk about her "Business Opportunity," so she asked about it. She invested 1000 Simoleons into her "business." We'll see if she ever gets that back.

After the agreement, Harmony offered to make Bess a drink. She politely declined but proceeded to tell her more about Evergreen Harbor and making a difference.

After Bess went home, Harmony wanted to workout. She's determined to master the Fitness skill as Aldo did. She's kind of bummed that she doesn't have any mastered skills, but she was just a ghost for a while. It was a few months between when she died and when we added her to Aldo's household.

Aldo has officially joined the Civil Designer Career! He's not sure what branch he'll go into, but he has plenty of time to figure it out. He's excited to learn new things and make a difference in his everyday life.

Aldo does a lot of thinking while he works out, so he went downstairs to the treadmill. Maybe he'll start making kombucha or candles or fabricate things. We shall see.

The next afternoon he wanted to try dumpster diving. His assignment is to find recyclable things and recycle them. One of the things I love about this lot is the proximity to the two dumpsters. It's really convenient.

When he got home, someone was there to greet him to the neighborhood. I forgot her name, but I had to get a picture of her outfit. This is a contender for our bit "What in the world are the townies wearing?"

Aldo planted the soy beans he had harvested from the plants near his house. He hopes to learn how to make candles with the wax he'll be able to harvest in a few days.

He also planted a cherry tree, but that has to be outside. So every summer he'll be able to make cherry sparkling water and kombucha.

That same townie greeted Harmony and had a nice conversation with them.

That evening, Marcus Flex wanted to get together with the Powerhouse Club. He's been wanting to catch up with Aldo and see how his move to Evergreen Harbor went. It went quite well and he's settling nicely.

Aldo is getting in a nice workout with Clara Bjergsen, Brent Hecking, and Knox Greenberg. He enjoys working out much more with friends than by himself.

After his workout, Katrina Caliente and Bjorn Bjergsen came to talk to him. He was dancing because there was good music playing.

He wasn't quite done working out, so Aldo went upstairs to get some boxing action. 

When he got home he heard the treadmill running. He went downstairs and found Harmony doing a hill workout. So he gave her some advice and mentored her a bit. She's grateful he helped her.

That wraps up this first part of Aldo and Harmony's Evergreen Harbor life! Tomorrow at noon eastern time you will see what Aldo and Harmony are wearing now! I gave them makeovers to better suit their new lives in Evergreen Harbor. I'm also a little sad that the Eco Footprint is already Neutral. It went from all the way in the Industrial area to being Neutral in less than a Sim week.

Not So Berry Legacy Rose Gen Part Sixteen

Sorry this is going up a day late. I was pretty busy yesterday so I didn't have much time to create the post after getting the screenshots. This will be a longer part since I do have some deleted scenes. I was streaming this in my Discord server and when I stopped streaming, it closed the game without asking me if I wanted to save. Hence the deleted scenes.

Our last visit to Oasis Springs was nothing short of pure chaos. Yannick aging up to a child was the leasy chaotic thing that happened. Brooklynn caught Ross on a date with Siobhan, so she angrily moved out. Scarlet and Siobhan moved in with Ross and Yannick. Scarlet also became an adult. Let's see who Ross woos this trip.

Scarlet is a Nanny, and the only requirement is level 2 Charisma. She didn't have any, so I added some mirrors in her bedroom and she practiced her speech.

Practicing her speech made her hungry. Even though it's winter, Oasis Springs is still somewhat warm. At least it was warm enough for Scarlet to put her feet in the water while she ate her hamburger.

Brooklynn and Candy came over for a Winterfest Eve celebration. Although it wasn't really a celebration, it was more mingling than anything. Even though Brooklynn called Ross, I think she was really here to see Yannick and spy on the others.

Despite both of them being from Windenburg, Candy and Siobhan have never met until now. I thought they autonomously knew each other, but I guess not. Well now they know each other.

Um, Tom, is there something interesting on the wall? He's just staring at the utensils and wallpaper. Cats are strange.

Scarlet was bored, so she figured she'd look for some change and then do the laundry. Since there isn't a maid (I think this save glitched with the maid disappearing or something). I haven't hired a new one but I may get redo their house and get a butler when Yannick gets older.

Yannick has a project for school and Scarlet offered to help. She always loved working on school projects and she thinks Yannick is a sweet boy.

Unfortunately while they were working on the volcano, Yannick got a call that Hazel, Brooklynn's mother, passed away. So now he's really sad.

"It looks great! Thanks Auntie Scarlet!" Yannick said happily. His project looks great and he knows his teacher will love it too.

Ooh! Things between Ross and Scarlet just heated up a lot! This is their first woohoo! This was a long time coming for them because Scarlet was Ross' teenage crush.

Downstairs, Nina and Siobhan were fighting. They were poking fun at anything they could.

Um, Nina, that's kinda creepy. Nina is really affectionate with Siobhan after their fight (which fortunately didn't get physical).

Scarlet is fixing the shower Nina broke before her fight and fling with Siobhan.

The next morning Siobhan decided to relax a little and try some yoga. She's really loving it.

Ross is back doing his thing! He's wooing Marcus Flex, who is in the buff. At least he has good taste. Also kissing hands totally counts as kissing a Sim ;)

And look who just walked by: Brooklynn. Ross is better off anyway. Now he has his teenage crush and new crush living with him and he's doing really well raising Yannick.

DELETED SCENE TIME!!

Yannick has his school project, which is a volcano. He's struggling a little, but he's doing well.

"Need help, son?" Ross asked as he knelt down on the floor. "Yes please," Yannick replied. Ross is looking through the instructions to see what they need to do to assemble this volcano.

Siobhan is talking with her sister Morgan while Scarlet just stands there in the hall. She was between tasks, but forgot exactly where she was going.

Here's the final product! Yannick's chemical reaction volcano! It looks great and will give him plenty of extra credit! Way to go, Yannick!

Scarlet and Ross did woohoo the first time. I placed the lights in a different place because I had MoveObjects on. The second time I did not.

Siobhan wanted to dance upstairs, but she had to fix the stereo first. She doesn't have much Handiness skill, if any, but she made it work.

I think Ross was upset over the TV being on a "boring" station. He's a Snob, so it's pretty hard to find TV shows/channels that won't bore him almost instantly.

Fortunately he didn't have to be upset long because Siobhan and Scarlet came in to talk. Then Siobhan fell asleep. Between when this was taken and when Discord shut my game down, Moira invited her to the Blue Velvet club in Willow Creek.

This will wrap up today's trip to Oasis Springs. I'm really glad to be back playing this family because I have a ton of fun with it. I really need to crunch down on his relationships, so we'll be focusing on that hardcore the next few parts. Ross doesn't care about the gender of a Sim.
