Last time we were in Brindleton Bay, Camila's party guests didn't leave after the party was over. I'm still curious to see if this is a common glitch and how to prevent it from happening. It's kind of a pain to not have time go super quick when Camila goes to bed.
Camila was back at painting after she walked in on the guests dancing and singing to the Winter Holiday station. It's become Camila's favorite station and she'll be listening to it all year.
Camila found Clement back in her bedroom, only he was naked this time. Well this is a scarring experience for all Sims involved. I'm not sure what he's messing with here but Camila just wants him out of her room. Once he left, she locked the door to only allow her and the kitties in there.
When she finally chased Clement out of her room, Camila decided to practice her violin skill. Once she masters it she's moving onto guitar then piano. She loves music so much. Clearlyy Clement does as well because he changed his outfit. Aww here's Shadow too!
Clement thought Camila's soft melody was perfect pushup music. He better not hit Shadow with how close he is to them (he didn't). Maybe he will make his New Year's Resolution to be fitter. We will never know.
Camila sat down on the couch only to find out that Shadow and Chester scratched that one and it cost 700 Simoleons to fix it. This is the second time this has happened but she loves her cats too much to let them go.
Her tense/angry faces are great! I love Sim facial expressions so much.
Clement doesn't like what HE chose to watch on TV. Camila is too focused on the scratched couch to really care. He did change it to the New Years program after this was taken.
Watching TV gave Camila the idea to buy a couple cheap guest beds until the guests decide to leave. That is if they ever do. Chester and Shadow clearly approve of this! They have two more pieces of furniture to climb around!
Clement got up to ring in the new year right! He started the countdown. Sha-shoobie! At least I think that's how it's spelled. Someone needs to create a Simlish to English dictionary for each game since the Simlish is so different.
Camila thought long and hard about what her resolution should be. She loves gaining skills, so she decided to make hers gain a skill point. Who knows what it'll be. She has so many skills, but only Painting is maxed out.
I love how the TV has little fireworks when the New Year comes! It's such a neat touch. The development team did fantastic with the Seasons pack.
Camila decided to start the next morning by talking with her lovely plants. What she didn't realize at the time was Gardening would be the skill point she gained to reach her New Years Resolution! She's so happy!
Achieving your Sims' New Years Resolution gives them the Inspired moodlet, so Camila wanted to paint. She hadn't painted much in the last couple days so she wanted to do it again. I love how many different paintings Sims can paint. Camila's favorites are Realism and Impressionism.
Chester and Shadow are too shy to try and scare flocks of birds, so Camila tried it herself. She didn't get anything from it, but she's sure eventually she'll get something. Maybe she'll have to get another cat. When she finishes her aspiration, the first thing she's doing is adopting another stray cat. The next is rebuild her house into her dream home. She loves it now, but it could use some improvement.
Clement still hasn't left. I think he's the only one who hasn't left (eyeroll). He won't sleep in the guest beds yet, so hopefully he'll go home soon. PLEASE GO HOME CLEMENT.
That will conclude this Brindleton Bay trip! Soon Camila will travel to another world to meet more Sims. As she completes the Mansion Baron aspiration, I want her to meet guys and maybe go on dates. We only have a couple more parts of this aspiration, then I'll do a special post with Camila's new dream home!
Side note....does anyone else endlessly scroll Pinterest for build or Sim inspiration? I find myself doing it so much I'm considering adding a Sims CAS/Build Pinterest board. I have a bunch of random boards and pins, but feel free to follow me on Pinterest!
