Not So Berry Rose Gen Part Ten

Sorry this post is a little late. I was busy all weekend and didn't have time to get pictures for today. I needed to play a little this afternoon so I'd have some things to share.
Last time we visited Oasis Springs, our yellow generation Sim was born! Yannick is still a baby but he's about to age up into a toddler! When he's an adult he will go into the Astronaut career and master the Handiness and Rocket Science skills. We will also be visiting Sixam and the secret lot in Oasis Springs, which can only be unlocked through mastering the Handiness skill! I'm really excited. Anyway, we have a while until we get there so let's see what's going on with the family right now.

While Brooklynn was at work, Ross invited Scarlet over. They still have some chemistry despite him living with another Sim. He still really likes her and I think she likes him too. Also kissing a Sim's hands counts for the "kiss 10 Sims" requirement in the aspiration ;)

Brooklynn woke up to feed Yannick. She also can't wait for him to age up. I recently got Parenthood so there are new interactions and traits Sims can get :)

Meanwhile Ross is downstairs eating some leftover grilled chicken before work. He hopes to get promoted soon. He's currently level 2 Logic and he needs level 4 before choosing what branch of the Business career to join. He's level 5 in the Business career.

Ross went to work so unfortunately he's missing Yannick age up! So one of the requirements for the Rose Generation is only having one child. If he decides to woohoo with anyone else, he can't try for baby.

Aww Yannick is so cute! I will be giving him a makeover. Since he's our yellow generation heir, he will be blond.

I love that the first thing toddlers do when they age up is walk to their parent. It's adorable!

Hazel came over, so Brooklynn was showing her pictures of Yannick. I don't think she's come over since he was born.

Then after she showed Hazel the pictures, Brooklynn wanted to play with Tom. He loves playing, especially when both Brooklynn and Ross play with him at the same time.

Someone at work must have made Ross angry. His moodlet says from the hot headed trait, but I like to think he works with someone he doesn't like.

Before he got a chance to unwind, his coworker Siobhan invited him to a party. Look who's also here! Jade Rosa, Candy Behr and Don Lothario as a ghost. Who says ghosts can't party every now and then? 

Ross was still feeling angry so he decided to take a drink break. His favorite drink is red wine, so he got that and was conversing with the bartender mixologist and another Sim. I forget the Sims' names though.

Since he and Siohban were there, Ross decided to have a gathering of the Paragons. Here he looks like he came straight out of the 90s lol. He's wearing star sunglasses, which are giving him a playful moodlet. He's not angry anymore fortunately.

Um, Sofia what are you wearing? It's okay, Ross did the same thing last time.

When he got home Ross wanted to eat before bed but was way too tired. So he left the plate on the counter and went to bed. Tom don't even think about eating that food. You have like 5 bowls around the house.

That will wrap up today's trip! Ross is almost an adult! I forgot that Brooklynn is much older than Ross is! I'm still leaning toward leaving Scarlet at the altar and marrying Brooklynn as an elder. but then we'd have to act fast because there won't be many days where they're both elders. We still have some time so we'll figure it out then. Have a great week and can't wait to see what Aldo is up to this week! A to Z Batista Legacy Gen C Part Nine

On our last visit to Newcrest, Chad and Cassidy went to the Harbor Quarter Gym in Windenburg. Chad fell asleep after eating post-workout grilled cheese. Chad's "friend" Leilani also became a young adult.

Even ghosts workout. Bort is lifting some weights while Afro goes upstairs. Yes elder ghost Sims will still get the Uncomfortable +40 moodlet after any type of exercise.

After Bort was done his workout he decided to possess the tub in Cassidy's bathroom. I don't mind ghosts hanging out but I hate that they break all the things!

Cassidy was almost asleep when she heard something.

But Bort wasn't done with his shenanigans. The sound Cassidy heard when she was falling asleep was Bort walking around her room. She was startled. "Dad what are you doing? I was just about to fall asleep!" Cassidy asked. Bort just laughed. Typical Bort being mischievous. 

After he successfully scared Cassidy out of bed he decided to break her hot tub. Both Cassidy and Chad have hot tubs in their rooms for the ultimate woohoo. They will be getting the closets from Get Together so there's even more potential woohoo spots. That's why the upstairs is as large as it is.

"Ugh, Mom! Why?" Cassidy yelled as she repaired the dollhouse in the kids room. Afro hates children, which is partially why it was so ironic that she married Bort and had Cassidy.

This dog poster is precious! I can't tell if that's an English Bulldog or a Corgi, but either way that's a really cute dog! :) I put this in a lot of kids rooms I build. It's from Cats & Dogs.

Cassidy was feeling motivated, so she ventured over to Movers and Shakers in Willow Creek. She loves Harbor Quarter in Windenburg, but this is her favorite gym.

After her workout, Cassidy was invited to a party by Clement Frost. Apparently all my Sims are friends with him because he's appeared in every story except Strangerville.

When a Sim's gotta go, a Sim's gotta go. And Cassidy went in this bush. As gross as it sounds, Sims don't get an uncomfortable moodlet from using this. 

Cassidy is talking to another Sim. I'm not sure what his name is but they seem to be getting along nicely. Maybe something will come of this conversation. 

Cassidy is doing her post-party potty dance. She may have had one too many drinks. Lets hope she remembers the Sim she talked to at the party.

Chad woke up early and had some inspiration for a painting. I forget what this one was though.

After that he painted this awesome confident piece. He loves painting superheroes. Painting makes him feel like he can do anything.

Since Twitter voted to have Llama Lagoon have an industrial footprint, I took some time and renovated the Batista home a little. I added the two floors that add an industrial feel as well as a few generators and some water conservation machines. Since no one has bits and pieces I got three bug farms. I will eventually have to find a way to get more fuel so the industrial footprint will increase.

That wraps up today's trip to Newcrest! We'll be focusing on finding Chad a wife and Cassidy a husband so we can have our generation D babies! I already have one possible boys name. I need another in case we have 2 male heirs and 2 girls names just in case we have 2 female heirs. We'll also be working on the Newcrest neighborhood votes for community lots. I may keep the industrial footprint for generations D and E then go toward a neutral or green footprint in generation F. We'll figure it out when we get there though :) 

Rags to Riches: Mansion Baron Part Nine

Welcome back to Brindleton Bay! Last time we were here Camila went to a Bear Night and then went to the museum to gather some painting inspiration.

Camila started the day by taking a nice relaxing bath. A warm bath on a cold morning sounds amazing, Camila.

After her bath, Annika invited Camila to her house again. Since Camila hadn't eaten beforehand, she was hungry. Today's brunch of choice is microwave oatmeal.

Annika and Camila decided to sit on the ottoman while eating and talking. Sims logic: has chairs and couches. Sits on ottoman instead.

When they were done eating, they put on their favorite medical romance show.

Annika had some work to do, so her daughter Kimberly came down to get to know Camila some more. She seems really nice.

The oatmeal didn't completely satisfy Camila's hunger, so she went for a bowl of yogurt. She was greeted by Annika's son, Darryl. He's a really nice kid.

He's telling Camila a really intense story about something that happened in school that day.

Annika's husband Lamont joined in the conversation. Annika does have a great family. They're really nice Sims.

Camila enjoyed a little bit of Sims Forever. Annika says she can play games there, but she has to create her own saves. Not too bad. Most people are like that to be honest.

Camila got a call and she took it.

What time is it? Party time (sing that in the rhythm of What Time Is It from High School Musical 2; Yes I love random movie/tv/music references)

She's waiting for the Mixologist to get there so she can order a drink. Camila likes to have a drink before dancing. She says it loosens her up. 

Where there is a party, Candy Behr will be there. She is the biggest party animal townie there is.

She's conversing with Easton, who invited her, before she gets on the dance floor. She's telling him she's been working on her DJ skills so she can perform at a club gathering for potential tips. She knows she won't make a lot but she's willing to earn what she can.

That wraps up today's trip to Brindleton Bay! Next time we'll see how this gathering goes and if Camila can master the Dancing skill. Strangerville Part Twenty-Three (contains Strangerville Mystery Spoilers!)

Last time we visited Aldo I mentioned he will be moving to Port Promise in Evergreen Harbor when he solves the Mystery and reaches level 10 in the Military career. I have decided to bring some of the things in his current home with him when he moves but we'll discuss that when the time comes. 

We start today's trip at Harbor Quarter Gym. Aldo loves this gym because he can swim and workout in the same place that isn't his house. He decided to assemble the Powerhouse so they can workout as well. He loves being a part of such a great group of Sims.

After his workout Aldo found out the gym trainer was a bro. So after talking for a few minutes, they decided to Bro Hug. Sims don't need a high friendship bar to Bro Hug and that's awesome!

After an intense workout and great Powerhouse gathering, Aldo was super hungry. I downloaded this restaurant from the Gallery and placed it on the Cookout Lookout. The restaurant is called Hillside Highlands by Livymarie. The only pack needed for this is Dine Out. The majority of the items are from base game :) I had to add a chef station, even though there was one used. It wasn't a big deal.

Aldo decided to have a steak and a fizzy fruity drink. "Harmony would've loved this place," Aldo thought. Yeah, she would've loved it.

The next morning he decided to practice his speech. Since he mastered the Fitness skill, all that was needed for a promotion was Charisma skill.

Aldo looked out the window and saw Ellis Willey zombie walking down the street. He had already made a few batches of the infection vaccine, so he figured he'd test it on him. It worked! 

Since he hasn't recruited anyone for the mystery, he wanted to cloudgaze for a bit to increase the relationship. It's one the best and quickest ways to make Sim friends.

After they were done, Aldo asked Ellis if he wanted to help defeat the source of the infection. Ellis said yes! Ellis' exact words were "Of course I'll help you destroy the Mother Plant. I am all for clearing StrangerVille of this vile infection." So that's one out of three friends! Now to find two more!

Aldo turned around to go home when he saw George Cahill zombie walk toward him. He tried to communicate to no avail. That's when he used the last vaccine to cure him! This time it worked as well :D 

After George was cured, he and Aldo spent some time stargazing. I love this interaction. It came with the Outdoor Retreat game pack :)

After stargazing and another conversation, Aldo asked George if he'd like to help defeat the Mother. George also said yes! He gave Aldo the same answer Ellis did. So that's two! Aldo needs to make one more vaccine. I was going to try to recruit Bethany Levesque, who Aldo cured last time, but unfortunately too much time has passed and he doesn't have that interaction anymore.

Aldo invited Bethany Levesque over the following day after work. She said yes and came right over. Aldo cured Bethany last time we visited him. I was going to try to recruit her, but unfortunately too much time had passed :( Tina Tinker also came over because Aldo didn't get around to fixing the broken stereos. If I had known Tina was coming over I would've left them alone rather than replace them lol

The next day was Spooky Day (aka Halloween). Aldo has the day off so let's see what he does. Here he is all dressed up and excited!

Aldo doesn't want to waste any more time defeating the Mother Plant, so he's back at the lab. I got some cool pictures around the lab to see what the scenery looks like now. The SimGurus did an awesome job with this scenery! Before Aldo moves to Evergreen Harbor I'll show some before and after pictures I've taken in other saves as well as this one.

That wraps up today's trip! It was pretty productive :D Aldo just needs one more Sim to recruit and he's ready to take on the Mother. Let's hope he has a better outcome than Harmony. I have created a club called "Strangerville Army," which consists of Harmony (as a ghost; she kept bugging him to add her), Aldo, and the three Sims Aldo has recruited.
