Strangerville Mystery Part Four

Hello and welcome back to Strangerville! Some Sims are still possessed and others are completely unaffected! I have decided to do two posts a week during June, July and August, so there will be new content on Mondays and Fridays! September I will resume weekly posts on Wednesday! The posts will still be up at noon eastern time :)

Harmony loves finding collectables. She is constantly digging for treasures. While she hasn't found much that is valuable, she still enjoys it quite a bit! Plus she likes seeing if the holes close to bizarre plants will have visible roots.

Aldo and Harmony never get tired of the beautiful desert views you can only find in Strangerville. It's their favorite place to be and no where else gives them homey vibes.

Aldo and Harmony decided to move away from the downtown area because they didn't want to risk getting possessed. They thought it was too risky, so they moved and renovated a home in the nicer part of town. Aldo loves the new pool! He's never had a home with a pool until now, and it's such a relief from the Strangerville heat.

In the small field near the house, another conspiracy theorist discovers a bizarre plant. Yes they're everywhere in Strangerville, and yes, Aldo and Harmony are on the case! How other Sims are oblivious to their plan, we will never know.

Harmony decided to tour the property the following day. They moved at night, so the only light beside the ones in houses were the numerous bizarre plants. The sunny, summer weather is Harmony's favorite.

Another home, another welcome wagon! Only this time, it's the same Sims: possessed Amir, possessed Leslie, and possessed Ted. What could possibly be their plan? If it is to get possessed, Harmony and Aldo won't let that happen!

Uh oh, possessed Amir is in the kitchen! Will he put yet another bizarre fruit in the fridge? If he's hungry, there's plenty of leftovers in there!

Now possessed Amir is getting water. Well the possessed Sims do say "water is good, water is life." While Harmony and Aldo haven't figured out the exact meaning of that phrase, they will soon.

Meanwhile, possessed Ted is watching Aldo do some work on the computer. He's practicing his programming skills so he can help Harmony increase hers. I'm just glad Sims can't become possessed with a bite like vampires and zombies.

Possessed Ted, has anyone ever told you you're a creeper? Because you're really good at being one. He's very observant of everything Aldo does. He's always following Aldo when he comes over. Maybe if he wasn't possessed, they'd be friends?

Possessed Ted got bored waiting for Aldo to acknowledge him, so he ventured downstairs and put yet more bizarre fruits in the fridge. Unfortunately for Amir and Ted, Harmony and Aldo ate before the Welcome Wagon.

Well, the Welcome Wagon is over and that means possessed Amir and possessed Ted are going home. What will happen with the bizarre fruit? 

Do you think the Men In Black will come again? Was that only a one time thing? We shall find out in part five of the Strangerville mystery!  Will both Harmony and Aldo be so focused on the mystery that they get in each other's way? Or do you think one of them will change their mind about the mystery? There's still so much to discover in Strangerville and the Military career! I'm still loving this pack and plan on implementing it into my other saves at some point!

Not So Berry Mint Gen Part Four

We are back to the Berry household today! In the last part, Mitchell learned how to control his coworkers into wearing outfits that aren't their uniforms! Ross aged up to a child and started school, while Nina kept being herself. The Berry crew took advantage of a nice night off to enjoy some quality TV together. Mitchell was also enjoying a piece of the birthday cake Nina made. She's quite the cook.

Ross is just happy that his parents spend time with him. Most of his friends say their parents go to other Sims' houses just to get on the computer. When he asked why they don't have one, his friends make excuses.

The upstairs has been Berry-fied, at least that's what Mitchell called it. His dad and older brothers, who are back in Sunset Valley, renovate houses and he was always the one who designed interiors. He would've done it professionally, but he always dreamt of being a Scientist.

Mitchell spends all of his spare time "trolling teh forums" and making prank calls. He just keeps getting more mischievous. He has a few go-to "victims" who always fall for his shenanigans.

A confident Mitchell is strutting his stuff after being promoted! He loves his job at the lab, especially when he gets to trick his coworkers without them knowing. He isn't a huge fan of the uniform at this stage, but he'll gladly wear it until he gets promoted again!

Nina and Ross were having an important conversation at Dina's birthday party when Ross got a text from his best friend Dominic. It must have been really important if it interrupted their bathroom conversation. Nina even opted to eat there while they talked. Sims logic, I tell ya.

Mitchell becomes an elder? Already? He's nowhere near ready to retire! He has plenty of life in him still. I think that's partially because he and Nina had Ross so late in life. Mitchell's first complaint as an elder is that his back is sore when he walks too much. How much more mischievous will Mitchell get in his older years? Will he make it to the top of his career and logic skill? Will he age like normal Sims or will he take a potion of youth? We shall see.

Nina and Mitchell celebrated with an amazing woohoo! Nina says Mitchell is the best partner she's ever had and while she was hesitant to settle down, she's glad to have married a gentleman like Mitchell.

Mitchell was doing some collecting on a nice Saturday afternoon but couldn't finish because he had to use the bathroom. The Sims 4 "Potty Dance" is one of my favorite features with Sims, except the derpy "dazed" faces they get when shocked or abducted by aliens.

That will do it for this part of Not So Berry! As I mention before, I am not following the rules to a T this time. I do plan on repeating the challenge when I complete all ten generations, and my plan is to do a gender-bent version of the current lineup. The second time I plan on having all the packs, so I can follow each generation to a T.

A to Z Batista Legacy Challenge Gen A Part 4

This is the final part of Gen A of the Batista Alphabet Legacy! Alec is now an elder and Jordan is an adult (both started as Young Adults). Time has really flown by in the Batista world. This part of the story does go really fast because I don't have many screenshots like I did in previous parts. Gen B and beyond will be more spread out. For the most part I try to include about 16 screenshots per post, I may bump it up to 20 because of how many screenshots I have of Generations B and C. So expect a TON of Batista posts coming up! I'll of course keep it to every couple weeks like I do now, but this will be the longest running series.

Child Bethany still loves purple, and she cloudgazes with mom Jordan to become closer than ever! At this point, they're very close and know almost all of each other's secrets! Bethany isn't quite old enough to know everything, but she will!

Bort and Alec have always bonded really nicely, but after seeing how adulthood has affected his parents, Bort decided to take on an active lifestyle to live a little longer. Cloudgazing is still the bonding tool of choice among the Batista boys. They love finding all the shapes clouds can take, as well as see if they can find planes or helicopters! They love waving to those on board in hopes passengers will see them!

Alec has lived a very long and amazing life of painting, music, family and harvesting. He was a well respected Sim in Newcrest and will live on through his family legacy. RIP Alec we will miss you a lot! (Just kidding, there's a cemetary built next to the home in case he wants to visit Jordan, Bort and Bethany!) The Grim Reaper admires Alec's last painting, which unfortunately was not a masterpiece but it was close. The second to last one was.

After the sadness of Alec's death passes, Bort decides to properly bathe himself. He's now a young adult. Another difference between my legacy challenge and others is that every generation will have jobs. Since Alec and Jordan both had successful jobs, Bort and Bethany will not. They will find success in means other than traditional work.

Jordan is now an elder and Bethany is a teenager. Bethany is one of the brightest students in her class, same as Bort was. Jordan retired from her Mixology job, bringing in some pension everyday. Even though she and Bethany are super close, they still enjoy the pastime of cloudgazing. They always did it on the porch, never the yard.

This is Jordan's final painting. After Alec passed, she couldn't find the joy in painting she once had. It was a masterpiece, but made her sadder than she realized.

Bort went on the town to hopefully meet someone, but that ended up badly. He went to take a bath when he got home that morning and passed out. Who knew Sims could sleep in the tub? Now you do!

Bethany has aged up into a young adult and she looks great as ever! Her favorite color has gone from purple to blue and she's obsessed with these galaxy print leggings (who can blame her?) She doesn't mind harvesting the plants like her parents, but she and Bort don't do it nearly as much as their parents. She'd rather play chess or work on her skills.

Jordan's time has now come. She has lived an amazing life of love, laughter and children. She went to the bathroom, was about to go to the kitchen when she passed. Unfortunately Bort watched the Grim Reaper come after his intense workout. He was very sad because he witnessed his mother's death, but he did become acquainted with the Grim Reaper.

That concludes Generation A of the Batista Alphabet Legacy! Both Jordan and Alec make regular appearances in future generations due to their gravestones being in the cemetary on the lot (see the white fence in the picture above).

Rags to Riches Stage Four Part One

Camila, Shadow and Chester are pretty well-established in Brindleton Bay, but the challenge is not quite over. Camila still needs to finish the fourth and final stage of her Fortune Aspiration. We're gonna start the pictures with a funny cat glitch. The cat you see in the background is perfectly fine. The winding stars are glitched; it meows but there's no cat there.

Shadow, are you okay? Sometimes she likes to look at the wall. Chester does the same thing at times too. Cats are strange, especially Sim cats.

I don't know why I added this picture but enjoy the laser litter box. It's the best, most low maintenance litter box in all of Sims 4. It came with Cats & Dogs. I found out how it works through Sim Guru Steve's idle Twitch stream back in December and January.

Annika, Camila's best friend, was bored so she decided to come over. She's at Camila's every two or three days. Regardless of what they're doing, their first interaction is always a hug. Besties for the resties!

Sometimes I think Shadow dreams of being an outdoor cat. She loves the pampered life she's got, but she takes every opportunity she can to venture outside. Even when the weather is bad, she's outside.

That must be painful! Camila was holding and loving on Shadow as Annika went to the fridge to get some food. Maybe ask next time *facepalm*

Then, out of NOWHERE, something happens that's only happened to one other Sim I have. Camila was abducted by aliens!! The other Sim was also female so I have not had alien babies in Sims 4.

They returned her pretty quickly, and without harm, but not without some absolutely comical derp/Dazed faces. The dazed emotion is one of my favorites, mainly because of the derpy faces.

Chester, who I thought was doing amazing, apparently needed some time away from Shadow and Camila. What does that mean? Well, she ran away for a brief time. Even after posting missing cat signs and posts on social media, Chester was not found.

Have you wondered what first person sink washing looks like? Wonder no more. First person views changed the way I play Sims completely! I love seeing tasks like cleaning, cooking and even painting! Without Wicked Whims, woohoo is basically the Sim laying in bed like they're asleep. Note I don't personally use mods in my gameplay. I don't even use MC Command Center.

However, the story does get better because Chester does return! Cats that run away will always come back within a couple Sim days. I learned that from SimGuru Steve's idle stream around the holidays. Butter the Cat ran away numerous times but always came back.

Chester was covered in dirt after her extravaganza, but after a late-night trip to the vet and a clean bill of health, she's back to normal life with Camila and Shadow!!

Shadow greeted Camila and Chester when they got home. She was so happy Camila was home that she glitched going up the stairs for some pets. 

Here are some Simstagram photos Camila took of Chester running from the greenhouse to the house. I will share greenhouse photos soon. Bees and plants love greenhouses, and that changed the way I do gardening and beekeeping.

Since Camila took pictures of Chester, she felt it was right to get a couple cute pictures of Shadow, who was asleep on the grass near the greenhouse. Cats really will sleep anywhere, won't they?

That will do for part one of stage four! Once Camila finishes her Fortune Aspiration, I may change it to Mansion Baron then work on finding a man and having children. I should've mentioned this in my first Rags to Riches post, and I apologize for not doing so, but I have aging turned OFF for this challenge. I may or may not turn it on after the Mansion Baron Aspiration is finished.
