Strangerville Part Twenty-Six: Post Mystery Part Two

I apologize for this part being up so late. I've had a pretty busy week and I spent most of this afternoon working on stream things. I'm testing out XSplit Broadcaster because OBS Studio crashes my computer WiFi connection. My affiliate celebration stream will be tomorrow, August 1, 2020 around 5PM Eastern time! I sometimes play one of my blog families, but normally I stream other saves. What I do each day depends on what I feel like streaming and how much chaos I want to cause my Sims. Anyway, let's get to the story!
Last time we visited Aldo he was getting closer to mastering the Charisma skill. That is the only promotion requirement. Once he gets there he should be promoted in a couple days! It's also one of the first times I've played my Aldo save since I got Eco Lifestyle.

Aldo is hanging out at the community space on a fine afternoon. I forgot "Free Love" won the Neighborhood Action Plan (NAP) last week so everyone's feeling a little flirty.

Aldo is busting out his fine dance moves. Dancing allows Aldo to destress and take his frustration out on the dance floor. It's a hobby of his.

When he got home, it was back to the mirror. This time he's telling a story rather than practicing his speech. Aldo feels like his speech is just about perfect.

Sometimes I see random things that I think are cool in Strangerville. This is one of them. 

Even though Aldo solved the mystery, a conspiracy theorist's van is still scanning something. What they're looking for is something we may never know. I'm pretty sure it's aliens.

Aldo got up early, so he figured why not work on his story some more before work. He's almost ready to tell it to some of his coworkers and friends. He won't say what his story is about though. He's pretty private when it comes to those things.

When he got home from work, he realized his stereos were broken. I wish the stereos didn't break as much as they do. It gets really frustrating having to repair or replace them almost weekly.

Aldo even worked on his story well into the night.

That is, until Harmony invited him to the Ruins in Windenburg. They arrived and then she just randomly left. I don't know if that's a glitch but it's frustrating and rude for a Sim to invite someone to a lot then just randomly leave upon arriving. Ugh Harmony.

Aldo made the best of it and decided to visit one of the parks. It's a little late, so there aren't many Sims here. That's fine, he can work on his logic skill in peace. He did see Cassandra Goth and a couple other friends though.

It's Winterfest, so Aldo got the day off work. He spent it by going to the community space, which is a Maker Space this week. Here he is recycling some old things he had in his inventory. Aldo got super excited to see the bits and pieces.

Then he went to fabricate something. I forget what he was making though. He wants to get a head start on the Fabrication skill before he enters the Civil Designer career.

Ooh what do we have here? Aldo is getting some very much wanted attention from Tina Tinker. Yes, she is married, but no one will get jealous because of the Free Love trait. In the background is Timmy Turner. I made him, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof and they are on the Gallery! Their family name is Fairy.

Aldo realized he needs soy wax to make candles, so he bought a soybean. He plans on planting some berries and soy plants when he moves to Evergreen Harbor. That way he can make kombucha and candles.

Once again, one of the stereos was broken. This time it was the one in the dining room. 

After he was finished repairing the stereo he opened a present. Father Winter left at midnight, so unfortunately Aldo missed asking him for a present. He loves his present though. It was a pretty nice spice rack.

That will wrap up today's trip to Strangerville! Next time we'll see how close he is to that sweet promotion! He's super close to mastering the Charisma skill, so it's not far away!

Not So Berry Rose Gen Part Twelve

During our last visit to Oasis Springs, Ross became an adult and he started to woo Siobhan Fyres. Yannick is working toward improving his skills, as is Brooklynn. When Brooklynn moved in she had no cooking skill despite being level 8 in the Culinary Career.

We start today's trip with adorable Yannick dancing in the basement. There are stereos on all three floors, yet he always comes down to this one. I think it's his favorite.

When Brooklynn got home from work, she saw the plants were starting to grow weeds. Nina also decided to visit and talk to the plants rather than Brooklynn.

When Brooklynn was done with the plants Nina decided to see what Yannick was up to. One of the challenges with the yellow generation is maintaining a good relationship with their grandparent. I'm sure they mean your founder, but their significant other may work too.

Brooklynn decided to go around the neighborhood to harvest the wild plants and see if she can dig anything valuable up. She wants to start a garden, but there isn't a ton of room for one. She'll think of options when she has time.

When she finished her mom Hazel invited her over. Of course Brooklynn said yes despite not sleeping. She normally sleeps when she finishes work, but today she's been pretty busy with harvesting plants.

"Brooklynn what are you doing in that uniform? It's summertime! It's always hot in Oasis Springs!" Hazel asked. Brooklynn shrugged her shoulders, but wasn't able to give a reply.

She was exhausted, so she went to sleep. When she woke up that evening, she decided to have some leftover pancakes. Yannick is working on his skills on his tablet while talking to Brooklynn. Fortunately toddlers don't get sad/angry moodlets from playing on the tablet for a long time. He's almost fully potty trained too! He's independent, so he went on his own before he reached level 2!

When Ross got home from work a few minutes later, he decided to join the fun. Brooklynn did notice Tom's kitchen bowl was empty, so she filled it after her meal.

Every now and then Tom glitches. It's like he's a ghost cat sometimes (he's not...yet). Usually when he glitches he randomly runs in "circles" around the master bathroom. He does go through the counters and tub. I don't know what causes it or how to stop it, but it's kinda funny.

Ross saw that the dollhouse was destroyed, so he fixed it. He also wanted to fix it before Yannick got upset. It helps with his Imagination Skill.

Yannick came upstairs to see what Ross did. He likes it I think. Maybe he'll use it to improve his skills. I think he has 6 days until be becomes a child.

Siobhan Fyres decided to come over again. Ross wants to start wooing her more, but he can't if Brooklynn is here. He also wants to woo Scarlet. One of the things for his Serial Romantic aspiration is having a strong romantic relationship with 3 Sims and right now he only has Brooklynn.

One of the Rose generation requirements is mastering the Charisma Skill. Ross is either level 4 or level 6. I forget which one. Either way he's doing great!

Brooklynn is tense from no fun. I made her read a Gourmet Cooking book so she could improve her skill.

That didn't last long because a few minutes later here she is playing Blicblock.

Ross is praising Tom for being a good cat. He rarely scratches anything and he does all of his business in his litterboxes. Good boy Tom!

That wraps up today's trip! Next time we'll be working on Yannick's skills and getting Ross to the top of the Business career! Ross needs a little more Logic skill then he'll get promoted to level 7 of the Business career. He's getting really close and I'm excited :) See you Friday for more Aldo adventures!

A to Z Batista Legacy Gen C Part Eleven

Last time we visited Chad and Cassidy, Cassidy became an adult, Leilani and Dave moved in, and it was Spooky Day! Also Chad and Leilani had their first date and woohoo in Chad's room!

We pick up today's adventure with a small reunion. Jordan and Bethany decided to help clean the kitchen a little. Even though Jordan and Alec hired maids first, she'd rather Chad and Cassidy save money for other things. She didn't say exactly what things they should do.

Dave was the next one awake, so he's chatting with Cassidy before she goes to work. I think Dave has been dropping hints that he likes Cassidy back. Let's hope so.

One of Cassidy's teammates really ticked her off today. She already took an angry poop and now she's doing an angry painting.

Chad also came home mad, so he's painting an angry painting. What is it with them being mad today? Leilani and Alex are pretty content. It must be an unnamed holiday called "Make Batistas Mad Day" or something.

Chad got some beetles and grubs for the insect farms. I'm not sure how weather affects them, so we'll see. Leilani is giving them some love before going to bed. I can't wait to see how the generators will affect the landscape and air. Have you played with an industrial footprint? Do you prefer industrial or green?

Leilani's mom Keri was visiting. As Leilani was tending to the bugs, her mom was mourning one of the Sims that passed on. I think she was mourning Ian but I'm not quite sure.

The next morning Cassidy was getting in a workout. Dave came down and started talking to her. Their friendship and romance bars are kind of low, so I want to improve their friendship before moving to romance.

Of course they had to do my favorite Sim bonding activity: cloudgazing! Well, technically they're stargazing because it's like 4AM. Also Ian is being gross in front of them. I'm glad neither Dave nor Cassidy walked through that smelly trail.

After a lovely stargazing session, Cassidy was hungry. Chad made some grilled fruit, so she's treating herself to some. Also it's Harvestfest! 

Chad is watering the plants. I decided to put a roof over the garden so the plants will be harvestable all year. Chad likes that idea.

Dave and Cassidy were flirting by the pool. Will they swim together? (Spoiler they didn't).

OOH! Cassidy and Dave are having their first kiss! At least I think that's what's going on. Dave's face is awkwardly in Cassidy's mouth so it's hard to tell.

Okay, Dave. Townies have the weirdest outfits...

...But there's nothing a little Create-A-Sim action can't fix! Dave looks much better and Leilani looks super cute in that dress.

That will wrap up today's trip to Newcrest! Next visit we'll see Chad & Leilani and Dave & Cassidy's relationships improve and maybe by the end of the summer we'll have at least one or two gen D babies! Yay! Rags to Riches: Mansion Baron Part Eleven

Last time we visited Camila and the kitties, I decided to make one guest room and one vet room. I had two guest rooms, but since not many guests stay over, I decided to combine them.

Um, Camila, are you okay? That looks a little painful. I think one of the kitties was stuck inside the counter. I do wish Sims could open the counters and drawers like in previous games.

Kitty is sick, and that's partially why I turned one of the guest rooms into the vet room. There's almost always a sick cat here, so I figured why not save a trip to the vet? Plus Camila can work on her vet skills.

She's examining Kitty to see what's wrong with her. In the time she did this, she got to level 2 of the Veterinary Skill. Also Kitty looks like she's seen some things. Camila is calming her down with some soft pets.

I forget what exactly Kitty had, but her fur was frozen. After a shot treatment, Kitty is all better! Unfortunately Camila cannot take care of sick stray cats that come onto the lot. I wish there was a way to do that.

I renovated one of the homes in Camila's neighborhood into a community lot. I don't think I put it on the gallery, but I can if you would like to download it. Here Camila is using the recycler to get some bits and pieces. She watched Tina Tinker make some candles and she wants to try it.

After some restful sleep, Camila decided to work on her DJ skills. One of these days she wants to host a party as a DJ. Go for it Camila! She's doing really well so far.

When she was finished, the DJ machine was still creating some beats and some fog. Camila saw a cute stray cat and began wondering if she wanted a fourth cat. "Not right now," she thought. "Maybe when I finish the Mansion Baron aspiration I'll get another cat. But I'm okay with Shadow, Chester and Kitty."

Candy invited Camila to a party in Windenburg. Look who's wearing a similar outfit...none other than Mrs. Nancy Landgraab. Oof.

Camila's got some moves! She's showing off her moves while learning from other Sims. Great job Camila! You're a better dancer than me.

"Clear the dance floor!" The DJ said. "Now to show off her signature moves, Camila Molina! Let's go girl!"

She does have some good dance moves. Teach me your ways, Camila!

It's also New Year's Eve!
