Strangerville Part Six

Previously in Strangerville...Harmony got the keycard to open the Secret Door in the Secret Lab, Harmony and Aldo moved into a new house, the Men In Black visited again, and a MIB agent scared some random townie! When Harmony unlocked the Secret Door, it would've been so much better if there was a cut scene similar to one in Sims 2. I miss those amazing cut scenes. They always made things more dramatic and entertaining!

Harmony is still at the same bar we left last her. She had to use the bathroom and when she got there, she discovered vines coming out of the toilet! Vines! In the TOILET! She thinks it has something to do with that secret door. She noticed a lot more bizarre plants when she left the lab as well. 

She found the MIB agent outside and decided to see what she could get out of him. All he said was he is REDACTED at REDACTED and specializes in REDACTED.

To prove she is physically capable to use the Infection Scanner, Harmony decided to do what she does best: push ups! She still holds her high school's record for 100 push-ups in a minute! Harmony is in incredible shape! Spoiler: she passed the impromptu test with flying colors!

Harmony realizes something happened last time she visited the lab because there are now vines in the toilet in her and Aldo's master bathroom. She needs to work faster to solve this mystery because she's sure this is happening all over Strangerville. She and Aldo may travel to another world in a couple parts to see if the bizarre plants are in other worlds or just Strangerville.

After a long and hard day at work, Aldo takes a nice and relaxing shower. He loves his new expensive shower.

But when Aldo gets out of the shower, he finds the vined toilet "Harmony!" he called. Harmony then had to explain what happened that night in the Secret Lab.

Harmony then cleaned the toilet to see if the vines will go away. They did fortunately.

Little did she know, when she washed her hands, the vines came up the sink drains too. "I wonder what is causing this," she thinks. "The bizarre plants have everything to do with it."

Harmony reads a library book in the presence of a large bizarre plant. There's a fruit in the plant, which I have not seen before this.

Harmony picked the bizarre fruit and got right back to reading her book. She can't be bothered to do anything until she finishes it. Relatable.

Harmony finished her book and loved it. Afterwards, she put the book on the ground and started looking for spores, which was the whole reason she came downtown.

Aldo has now discovered sinks get the vines as well. It freaks him out because there are maybe three bizarre plants around their home lot (but a lot more within view).

This is a cool picture of Harmony in the middle of getting in her pajamas for bed. All of this investigating has worn her out.

The next day, she decided to sleep in a little and Work From Home. Harmony's only task was "March Around." It's a beautiful afternoon in Strangerville, so she marched around her home and ran into a few Sims also taking in the beautiful weather.

Among the Sims Harmony ran into on her march was Possessed Ted, who she's never seen not possessed. She wonders if the bizarre fruits have anything to do with possession, but she's too cautious to find out. She doesn't want any bad reactions to the fruit. She may make Aldo her "guinea pig." He will eat just about anything but fruitcake.

Harmony ran into Jess after her march. She was possessed, but Harmony temporarily slapped her out of it. Jess doesn't recall anything about being possessed. It's like these Sims have some sort of block during the times they're possessed. She really needs to solve this mystery.

That will do it for this part of Strangerville! In the next part Harmony gets a little closer to solving the Strangerville Mystery and talking to Scientists about these plants. She is determined to make Strangerville the beautiful place she grew up loving and wanting to live.

Not So Berry Mint Gen Part Six

Hey friends we're back with the Berry family! Last time we saw them, they had just celebrated the New Year with some friends! Ross is a child, Mitchell is an elder and Nina is an adult.

Nina is kinda mad at someone or something, but we're not sure what. She could also be uncomfortable. We will never know what goes on inside Nina's head. She's a complex character.

Nina decided to try boxing. She's a lazy Sim, so she's never worked out. She hated it. She hates getting sweaty and actually doing anything. She's even hesitant to clean, which is why they have a maid. I'm surprised Ross turned out okay, although she is a great mother.

Mitchell decided to be mischievous at work the next day. He declared it's Pajama Day at the lab, so he proceeded to mind control his coworkers to change into pajamas. I love Don's initial reaction :)

I love the animation for mind controlling Sims! Mitchell is now convincing Marisol to change into her PJs.

Now it's Keisha Hess' turn! Townies have the most interesting outfits. Some of them look good, but others make you wonder what they like.

When Mitchell got home from work, Ross decided to work on his computer skills before he did his homework. He is currently a B student, and is working really hard toward becoming one of the best students in school. He's well on his way, according to his teachers.

But a Sim can't have too much fun when that bladder need gets too low. This walk will never get old 

Meanwhile, Nina is enjoying the gorgeous spring weather by chilling in the toddler pool. She wouldn't let Mitchell get rid of it when Ross aged up because she wanted a pool.

Hot headed Ross was mad about something. My guess is his friend is grounded and couldn't come over to play. We all understand that frustration, Ross.

But, there's nothing a little bit of Kids TV can't solve. Every time I see this program, it reminds me of SimGuruSteve's idle Twitch stream back in late December and early January. This was the only thing Bob Pancakes wanted to watch on TV.

That will do it for this part of the Not So Berry challenge. Ross is growing up very well, and like I've mentioned in the past, I am not doing this challenge to a T this time, but I may do another round when I finish this challenge. I should have all the packs by then, so I can better follow the challenge. I also saw someone made a Base Game version as well.

A to Z Batista Legacy Challenge Gen B Part Two

Today is a super exciting day in the Sims 4 world! Today is the official release day of the newest Expansion Pack, Sims 4 Island Living! I really want to get this pack very soon and I plan to add it to my post lineup after the summer is over! I want to explore the pack a little before I start posting about it. :) What are you most excited about in this pack? I can't wait to get into the tropical world and make mermaid Sims!!

Today we're catching up with the Batistas! Last time Afro was checking into the hospital, pregnant with their first child(ren). Now let's see what happens next.

Afro stands outside the bassinet after she gives birth. Afro only has one baby. Leave your gender and name guesses below! Remember, this is the C generation so the name will start with C. She still has her lean physique thanks to her physical job of being a Detective. Since I don't have pictures of the baby in this post, I'll wait to reveal the gender and name ;) Don't worry, it won't be a month; it'll be two weeks since I started doing two posts a week.

When she got home, Bort had a lovely surprise for Afro! With Bethany as witness, BORT PROPOSES AND AFRO SAYS YES! We are going to have another Batista wedding! Yay Bort and Afro! Bort thought this was more important than his breakfast, which means he really loves her!

Fast forward a couple days, and Bort and Afro are getting married! Yes, this is the exact same venue were Alec and Jordan got married, and it will be the venue where all the Batistas get married. It is on the Gallery under my name PhilliesPOPster5. It is called Wedding Venue :) Here's Bethany all dressed up for the wedding! 

Lovebirds Bort and Afro exchange their vows in front of their family and closest friends. It really was a beautiful ceremony! Afro's full name is now Bryanna Crane-Batista :)

That concludes the second part of the Gen B of the Batista legacy! What will Bort and Afro's baby be named? Note the baby is already named :) Keep an eye on my Twitter for Batista gameplay updates if you want to help name some future Batistas! I also will post polls for the Berry family, Strangerville and Camila! The next post will be a little more focused on Bethany and the growing Batistas. I'm really glad I chose to keep both Bort and Bethany in the family rather than just follow one of them :)

Rags to Riches Stage Four Part Three

When we last visited Camila and the kitties, Camila had just hosted the best Harvestfest party she'd ever attended! Today we get to see what happens next as she makes her way through the last stage of her fortune aspiration. I have content for a couple more posts on this stage. I will feature some Sims I've created then go into Camila working her way through the Mansion Baron aspiration!

We start this post by seeing Camila boxing. I guess she wanted to burn some extra calories after that really filling Harvestfest grand meal. Her physique is already great though.

Chester got sad for some reason, so she stood in the middle of Camila's room and started meowing.

Somehow Camila heard her all the way in the kitchen, so she decided to stop what she was doing and give Chester the love she wanted <3 She loves her kitties more than anything else.

She had her awesome friend Easton Fitzpatrick over that night as well! He got to play with Chester right after Camila finished. She is a really playful cat if you haven't noticed

Shadow got a new hobby of finding treasures for Camila. The treasures are bird feathers and can range in value from about ten simoleons to a couple hundred. There are typically three feathers in a pack :)

She also got into a fight with some animal. I think it may have been a skunk but I'm not sure. She just jumped into the bush.

Camila found her after her little squabble and she stunk. She isn't very happy with Shadow, but it's okay. Cats get into a lot of things they really aren't supposed to. She's a pretty typical cat lol

Camila decided to take Shadow to the vet just in case she got bit by something. She's grateful for a twenty-four hour vet in Brindleton Bay. Fortunately Shadow is in perfect health. Sometimes a vet visit means cats are cleaned/bathed, but this time she wasn't. Camila then took it upon herself to brush Shadow until she was clean.

When Camila and Shadow got home, they found Chester under the couch. Camila isn't sure what scared her but she's okay. Chester can be pretty skittish sometimes.

Camila is working on her cat wall, so she decided to have an impromptu photo shoot with Shadow. She has the best and cutest poses :)

She also decided to do the same with Chester, who just wasn't having it. I think Camila may have woken Chester up from her nap. She loves that spot next to the stove even when Camila isn't cooking.

Alright friends, that will do it for this part of Rags to Riches! The next part will be more money making stuff and a little less cats. At least that's the goal. After Camila finishes her Mansion Baron aspiration, she's going to look for a man and settle down. Are there any townies you wish she'd marry? Let me know who she should try to pursue?
