Not So Berry Mint gen Part 2

As I mentioned in the last Not So Berry post, I don't have too many screenshots from the early stages of my Mint Gen Sim, Mitchell Berry. As his adulthood goes on, I've been better at getting screenshots and pictures of his family, friends and life.

Mitchell and Nina share a romantic kiss at sunset. Nina was especially missing Mitchell after his long day at work.

Mitchell and Nina decided they were ready for a baby before they were ready for marriage, so they tried for baby! The real question is she having a boy or girl? We need answers Nina! She had a craving for grilled fruit while Mitchell was at work so she made some. She did NOT catch fire like Mitchell did the first time he used the grill.

It was Friday night and Mitchell was itching to go somewhere beside work and home. He asked Nina out on an official date (their second) and they chose the lounge! (It's one of my favorite non-residential lots in Sims 4). As the night went on, they got closer romantically and by the end of the night, Mitchell proposed to Nina!! She said YES!!

Not long after their engagement, the beautiful couple got married! The baby was born the previous day and was at a daycare while they got married. The venue was a gorgeous multipurpose venue I built with a bed and hot tub for woohoo! Even though both Mitchell and Nina were exhausted after a long Sunday, they were able to fit in a hot tub and bed woohoo.

That will wrap up this part of Not So Berry Mint generation! The future posts from this challenge WILL have more photos and be longer. In the next part, we'll meet Nina and Mitchell's baby, aka my Rose gen heir! (please note the baby has already been named so no recommendations are needed).

I built the wedding venue in Brindleton Bay, near the vet clinic. I plan on using this venue for all of my NSB weddings, so prepare to see it a lot! It's fairly neutral so it can go from generation to generation fairly easily. It is in the Sims 4 Gallery under my username, PhilliesPOPster5. Mitchell is also on the Gallery!

A to Z Batista Legacy Challenge Gen A Part 2

I meant to post this earlier in the day, but it's been a long and busy day. The Batista's are flourishing and I'm enjoying the gameplay. I will elaborate later, but I plan on having every other generation have regular jobs. I haven't played much of them lately (thanks Not So Berry and Strangerville!) but I love this legacy!

The Batista family has grown! Baby Batista is a BOY named Bort! If anyone is familiar with The Simpsons, there is an episode where Bart and Lisa go to an amusement park. Bart tries to find a souvenir with his name on it, only to find Burt and Bort. It's an unusual name, but Bort isn't any usual baby! Baby Bort has a lot to live up to and he will do great things!

Alec loved photography and Newcrest, so he decided to capture the beauty near his home. It is such a scenic lot (the Batista's live on the 50X40 lot in Newcrest. I forget the name!)

Bort aged up to an adorable toddler who looks just like Alec! Blocks were his favorite toy as a tot! Alec and Jordan agreed he learned a lot from them, so it was best to let Bort be while his needs are good!

there was one day Alec was late getting home from work, and Bort was too busy to eat dinner at his normal time. He was angry from the blocks and dinner, so he gave Alec this adorably sassy look.

Alec and Jordan try for baby again? Was it successful? Jordan loves Bort, but she also dreams of having a girl. Growing up, Jordan loved the idea of having both a boy and a girl, plus pets. As she got older, she decided pets and children were too much responsibility together, so she decided to just have children. Jordan still enjoyed seeing pet pictures online and seeing the strays when she visited Brindleton Bay!

Bort hated going to bed without stories, but Alec was exhausted after a rough night at work. One of the musicians walked out, leaving Alec to play both parts! He was not a happy camper. Jordan was asleep, but eventually woke up to read Bort to bed. Sim toddlers make the cutest faces!

Alec loved Jordan and Bort, but feared leaving them. He was almost an elder, and didn't want life to go as fast as it has. He had a lot to finish, like mastering his skills in guitar, violin and piano. He already mastered painting!

Happy birthday Bort! He had a great toddlerhood, so let's hope his childhood goes very well too! Will he keep looking like a mini Alec?

Jordan had a rough night, so she passed out while drinking coffee! Has anyone else had Sims who pass out while drinking caffeine? RELATABLE.

Bort, aka mini Alec, loves playing outside on his pirate ship! He loves when any adult, especially his parents, play the sea monster! As an only child, it can get lonely without any kids around.

Rags to Riches Stage Three Part One

As I said in my previous Rags to Riches post, I have a lot more pictures of Stages Three and Four than the previous stages. With that said, I've also decided to break Stages Three, Four and maybe Five into a couple different parts.

On another sunny day, when Camila was jogging around her home, she noticed Chester wasn't feeling right. She asked "What's Wrong?" and realized Chester had to go to the vet. Camila did try a few times to get Chester checked out, but since she was a stray, the vet wouldn't see Chester until Camila adopted her.

Camila took Chester back home and figured out a way to adopt her. She barely had the money for her bills, let alone a cat. Then she sold a masterpiece painting! Once again, every time she tried to adopt Chester, either her or Chester would glitch. 

Camila was painting when one of her best friends, Alexander Goth, came over and told her a funny joke. Alexander and Camila met at the  gym near Camila's house. He played in the ship and Camila acted as a sea monster!

Since she couldn't adopt Chester at the time, Camila decided to adopt a cat from the shelter. She hated the idea of shelters, but hated the idea of strays more. That day, someone from the adoption agency came out with Shadow, who quickly bonded with Camila. Their bond wasn't as instant as Chester, but it was faster than any other cat Camila had previously seen. Shadow got used to living in Camila's house quite quickly. She had a cat tower, bowl, a bed near the foot of Camila's and a warm home to sleep the day away!

Camila loves painting unique paintings, and this one is deliciously well done! She loves food portaits, so she decided to do something a little different with donuts!

Shadow and Camila had some bonding to do, so Camila decided to play with Shadow's cat wand. The cat wand and laser pointer are her favorite toys, so Camila plays with her a lot! I'm not sure why Camila had to play with Shadow in the bathroom, but #SimsLogic, right?

Shadow loves being everywhere Camila is, and even places cats should avoid, such as ovens. Shadow clearly doesn't care where she should be because she LOVES sleeping and stretching near the stove! No other cat I've seen in Sims 4 has ever been like this toward an oven!

Will Chester and Camila ever stop glitching long enough for her to join the Molina clan? What will the house look like with another cat? Find out in the next part of Rags to Riches Stage Three! Strangerville Mystery Part 1

I will warn you, this post will contain slight spoilers for the Sims 4: Strangerville, mostly with possessed Sims. Part two will cover more of the Military career and the mystery. If you're trying to avoid spoilers for Strangerville, next week's post will be about Camila, my Rags to Riches Sim!

Strangerville came out last week and knew I had to get it as soon as I could. It came out last Tuesday (Feb. 26) and I got it Saturday (Mar. 2)! Strangetown is my favorite Sims 2 town, and I was so happy when it was announced! I created two new Sims specificially for a new save! I wasn't going to post about them, but I couldn't resist. I'm having a ton of fun with them! I'm not sure how many parts I'll have, so stay tuned :)

Both Harmony and Aldo are available to download on the Sims 4 Gallery under PhilliesPOPster5. I have quite a few Sims as well as builds and a couple base game shells.

This is Harmony Rainier, who moved to Strangerville with her best friend Aldo to solve the Strangerville Mystery. Both are in the military career and are working on befriending as many of the conspiracy theorists they can. They're also working on befriending the famous Bella Goth. Harmony loves fitness, the outdoors and helping everyone out. Her favorite color is green and her favorite landscape is the desert.

This is Aldo Jansen, Harmony's best friend and roommate/coworker. He loves working out, being around other bros and trying to solve the mystery that haunts Strangerville. His favorite colors are black and green, and he loves the townies. 

Aldo had to take a picture of the first "Bizarre Plant" he saw! They have this really intriguing glow. He thinks he'll find out the reason they glow when he and Harmony solve the mystery.

Before they fully settled, they spent part of the sunny Sunday afternoon investigating the "secret" lab! They didn't find a ton of things, but they will acquire keycards once they reach level 5 of the Military career to find out more. This secret door intrigues them most!

Afterward, Harmony and Aldo discussed what they found. There are some weird things happening here. It only gets weirder from here.

In case you were wondering about possessed Sims, they're here alright! This is a townie named Amir (I forget his last name!) They're extremely derpy and hilarious!

Since Aldo and Harmony were pretty busy on Sunday, the "Welcome Wagon" was delayed until Monday. There's a new twist: all the neighbors in attendance were POSSESSED. Tom was nice enough to bring fruitcake though. Someone else brought fruitcake but left it outside the lot, so it cannot be moved unless either Aldo or Harmony picks it up.

Here is Tom's lovely wife Leslie. She's obviously possessed as well, but she seems nice. Maybe there will be a time when she's not possessed and she can be friends with Harmony and Aldo. 

Here are the 3 neighbors that actually showed up to the Welcome Wagon. The girl standing next to Harmony is their coworker but I forgot her name. They came in and watched TV with Aldo while Harmony was studying their odd behaviors.

That will wrap up part one of the Strangerville Mystery! Tom put fruitcake in Aldo and Harmony's fridge and something happened. Find out what happened and who showed up in part two! Also, you'll get to see what some of the "Work From Home" options are for the Military career! I did learn you can temporarily slap a Sim out of being possessed. I'm not sure how long it lasts though. I will find out and let you know for the next part!

If anyone has recommendations for what to do after Harmony and Aldo reach the top of the Military career and solve the Strangerville mystery, let me know! I'm hoping to own Dine Out before I finish, so I may open a Strangerville Diner?
