A to Z Batista Legacy Gen C Part Six

Last time we visited Newcrest Chad started talking to a teen named Leilani and I think he may want to wife her up when she ages up. Cassidy was working on getting her Fitness skill up to earn her next promotion. Once she maxes the skill she'll achieve the last part of the Bodybuilder Aspiration!

Fortunately Jordan stuck around long enough to explain to Chad exactly what she did and why. He had to leave for work before she could thoroughly explain why the plumbing is broken almost every morning. Ugh. We may never know.

Chad had a rough day at work so he did some yoga to relax. It's a new Batista pasttime, but it will never replace painting.

Cassidy was feeling extra creative, so Chad decided to join after his yoga session. Plus he has to paint to get promoted and work on his aspiration.

Cassidy painted a masterpiece! Chad went to the kitchen but came back to admire her work. Since they already have over 100,000 Simoleons (and counting) they decided to display these paintings. When Chad paints a masterpiece it will replace his.

"Oh the plants! I have to harvest them as much as I can this week! All but the money tree are in season in the summer!" Chad remembered. He loves gardening because it reminds him of his past and it's a lovely piece of Batista family history.

Cassidy found Chad as he collected honey from the bees. The bees do help the garden but they can be irritating, especially when they're "irritated" and there's no way to calm them down.

Since both Chad and Cassidy are into fitness, they decided to join Powerhouse. This is the most popular club with my Sims. Most of that reason is a lot of my Sims are into fitness because I am. If you have Get Together, what club(s) do most of your Sims join?

Cassidy went for one machine while Chad went for another. I love this gym but I hate how Sims have to enter, walk from one side of the basement to the other and go up the stairs in order to workout. I wish they would've put an archway or something in there. I usually do that in my saves.

Cassidy has officially reached her maximum body potential! Look at them abs, girl! Way to go! She has been coaching Chad whenever she can so he can also reach his max. 

After Chad lifted some weights he wanted to get in some non-treadmill cardio. So he did what most Sims do at this gym: swim laps in the pool. I love the pool accessories that come with Get Together. This pack was definitely worth the buy! (I got it for $20 when it was on sale)

Cassidy wanted to do an extra set of weights, so she did. Here she's being mentored and motivated by the gym trainer. She loves it! But unfortunately she went a little too hard during the last set and pulled a muscle. Don't worry she'll be fine.

Cassidy was hungry, so what better meal to make than the iconic Grilled Cheese?

  When Chad was done with his swim he decided to join Cassidy. "Yum Cass, this is the best grilled cheese you've made yet!" Chad remarked. Cassidy replied, "Thanks cuz. You're the best."

When Chad finished his sandwich Leilani invited him to her birthday party...at the same gym! Most townies have parties at their house but Leilani wanted hers at the gym *shrug*

Chad and Leilani talk and get to know each other better. What do you think? Would she be a fit suitor for our Chad? She is a redhead, so there's a small chance their heir wouldn't be a redhead.

Sorry this is one picture short. You'll find out why on our next trip to Newcrest (even though we're technically in Windenburg today). I always enjoy playing the Batista family. Of the saves I share here, the Batistas are played the least because it's on my laptop while the others are on my desktop. It's okay though; it's good to use my laptop every now and then so it doesn't act up as much while I travel.

Rags to Riches: Mansion Baron Part Six

Last time we visited Camila and the kitties, Camila was preparing for her annual Harvestfest party. There were also two separate cat fights in Camila's presence. She's still debating whether or not she wants to continue having her house be a Cat Hangout.

She cooked the turkey grand meal earlier and now it's time to invite her friends!

Everyone is thoroughly enjoying Camila's delicious turkey, as they always do. On Camila's left we have Easton Kirkpatrick, Clement Frost, Alexander Goth and her best friend Annika Whitt. They're so thankful to have a great friend like Camila. They're also surprised her house is super clean with all the cats running around.

Since I recently bought Get Together, I figured it would be cool to have Camila learn the dancing and DJ Mixing skills. So far she's pretty good at dancing since she already does it a lot.

Camila is dancing and jamming to the Retro station. I love how the Gurus put this station in the game. Hearing music from previous Sims games is so nostalgic.

Alexander wanted to ask Camila a question while she was dancing, but I forget what it was. Annika walks across the dance mat. It's so interesting to see NPC's outfits.

After the party Annika wanted to play some piano. She changed into her everyday and decided to jam a little.

Uh oh. Those little orbs can't be a good sign. Be careful, Camila!

Oh no. Camila! 

I think this is the second (maybe third?) time Camila has been abducted by aliens. Fortunately only male Sims can become pregnant from alien abductions.

I love the animations of Sims being abducted and returned by aliens. It really adds to the effect. Also is there a way to make Sims more and less likely to be abducted? This is probably the fifth or sixth time I've had a Sim abducted and I've had Get to Work since May 2018.

Derpy Camila time! Talking to those aliens wore her out, so it's bed time!

The next morning she feels refreshed. And not just because she's in the bathroom.

Annika came over, so Camila was excited to gush all about her alien adventure while Kitty listens.

Easton invited Camila to his house (about time) so of course she said yes. They've been friends for a while and she's ready to see where he lives.

"You have a lovely home, Easton," Camila said as she entered. It's also a nice feeling to have Camila match names to faces. I'm sure Easton talks about his family a lot and now she gets to meet them.

That officially wraps up today's adventure in Brindleton Bay! How many Sims have you had get abducted by aliens? One of the two Sims I created when I got Get Together was my first male Sim to get abducted in the Sims 4. I do wonder if there is a way to make it happen more or less frequently, or if there are certain lots that make it happen more or less. Hmmm. I'll get back to you if I find anything out.

Strangerville Part Twenty (may contain Strangerville Mystery spoilers!)

Last time we visited our friend Aldo he joined the Powerhouse club. Their two main goals are working on their fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which Aldo loves. 

Here is Eliza Pancakes running on the treadmill. I guess Willow Creek wasn't good enough tonight. It's also like 3 in the morning.

Aldo finished his run so he decided to do some boxing alongside Bella Goth. He's currently Level 9 Fitness. Soon he will master the Fitness skill!

It was getting late, and Aldo was getting hungry. So he decided to end the club meeting and go home. Plus he had work in the morning.

After work his good friend Cassandra Goth invited him to the Goth home. He had nothing better to do, so he came over. Here he is talking to Mortimer and Mortimer plays chess. I'm not sure what their topic of discussion was.

When Aldo got home this floor glitch was in the kitchen. I can't click on it and nothing happens when I scroll over it or anything? Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't use MoveObjects when I renovated it and I also don't use Custom Content or mods.

Harmony came to visit! She's getting a nice run in before the sun comes up. Fortunately ghosts are unable to break fitness equipment and she returned to her grave when she finished. I have the mood aura turned on for the Confident lion painting in the background.

Aldo wanted to go back to Harbor Quarter Gym in Windenburg. Since it's the meeting place of Powerhouse, it instantly became a club gathering. It really helps. Aldo's fitness skill goes up faster because of the Fitness Skill Club Reward. Aldo is talking to Nancy Landgraab while lifting some weights. He thinks she's an interesting Sim.

He is really close (as in like 85%) to mastering the Fitness skill, so he decided to run on the treadmill. 

About a Sim hour later...WAY TO GO ALDO! You mastered the Fitness skill! Thanks to your nonstop dedication and also joining Powerhouse helped a ton! Aldo went from Level 8 to mastering it in 2 club meetings.

After his run, Aldo decided to do some stretching so he won't be sore for work in the morning. 

The best way to recover from a workout is drink a protein shake. Since Aldo has no Mixology experience it was pretty messy. It's okay Aldo, sometimes I accidentally make messes while making smoothies. It happens to us all sometimes.

He wanted to grab a shower before heading home. But Aldo forgot one big thing: clothes. It's cold on Spring nights in Windenburg.

Aldo was relieved to know that Strangerville is almost always warmer than other worlds in the game. He loves it here.

It was TV premiere day, so Aldo decided to watch it. He really likes this Game of Llamas show. I'm not entirely sure what it's about but he likes it. Plus it gets his fun up.

The next day Aldo had off was Saturday. Since Aldo completed the Bodybuilder Aspiration, he now has time to focus on solving the Strangerville Mystery. Since he and Harmony already did a lot earlier in the series, he is getting somewhat of a head start to it. He finished the first step/part before he switched to Fitness. All he had to do for the second step was open the sealed door, which is what he's doing now.

He is in the secret part of the lab! He already has the HazMat suit and such, so he decided to descend deeply into the Lab. 

That will wrap up today's trip to Strangerville! Next time we visit Aldo will see the Mother for the first time and start working on the last part to solving the mystery! The things Harmony left behind have really come in handy for Aldo. See you next week as we catch up with Camila and the Kitties!

Not So Berry Rose Gen Part Six

On our last trip to Oasis Springs Ross visited the spa I built, Tranquil Oasis Spa. I really wish you could put slanted stairs in builds. That's what I originally wanted to do behind the fountain wall, but it is what it is. Anyway, Ross got in a nice workout, yoga class and got his first massage! Let's see what happens today :)

We start by Ross playing some morning Blicblock.

That day Brooklynn invited Ross to her party. I didn't realize she's quite a few days older than Ross. He still likes her (loves? maybe) so we shall see.

He was tired from being out late last night so he decided to take a nap after the party.

Ross asked Brooklynn a question while she was on the computer. I'm not sure what the question was, but I think it was something along the lines of "what is your dream?" or "where do you want to go in life?"

Scarlet came over for a bit. So Ross decided to flirt a little since he had a crush on her in high school.

I forgot to get a pic but Scarlet and Ross had their first kiss! One of the goals for the Serial Romantic aspiration was have a "first kiss" with 3 different Sims. So Brooklynn was the first and Scarlet was the second. Ross finally admitted his crush and also mentioned he still likes her a lot.

Ross dances as he debates the next steps of his aspiration. He does really like Brooklynn, but Scarlet was his first crush. Only time will tell who he ultimately chooses.

Hey Nina! Look who made an appearance before Scarlet left! Nina always liked Scarlet. Will that influence Ross' decision? Hmmmm....

Speaking of Brooklynn, here she is! So I did a thing and had her move in with Ross! They are in a relationship, but I figured it'd be easier for Ross to do the Serial Romantic aspiration while she's in the household. That way he can do whatever he wants with whoever he wants and she won't see unless I bring her there manually.

Also since Brooklynn is a Cat Lover, Ross gave her the okay to adopt a kitten! Her aspiration is Friend of the Animals.

Brooklynn loves him already! So friends, meet Tom Berry! He is a mixed breed male cat. His original name was Sandy but I renamed him Tom. It suits him better.

Once the adoption agent left Brooklynn was hungry. So she grilled some hot dogs while Tom helped himself to one of the scratching posts I have on the main floor.

Sims kittens are so cute! Tom can sneak under the couch!

He looks so tiny compared to the smaller scratching post! I love Sims pets! 

Brooklynn didn't have much to do, so she figured she might as well do some laundry. For some reason the maid doesn't come around so I have to set that up again. Has that happened to anyone else? I didn't terminate the service or anything but the maids stopped showing up.

This laundry bag glitch gets me every time lol 

That will wrap up today's trip to Oasis Springs! Next time we will see what Brooklynn needs to be promoted in her career. Clearly she's in the Culinary career. We'll also see who Ross' third "first kiss" will be. Any guesses?
