Not So Berry Mint gen Part 3

SO...if you guessed Mitchell and Nina were having a boy, you were RIGHT. Meet Ross Berry, the rose gen heir! I don't have any pictures of him as a baby, but enjoy these adorable pictures of him playing with his favorite toy, the Purple Pursuer! He is a really fun toddler to play. I much prefer Sims 4 toddlers over Sims 3 ones.

It's summer, so Mitchell and Nina took advantage of the warm Saturday to play chess in their backyard. They love being able to go outside when the weather is nice. The previous 2 parts I did NOT have seasons but at this point in gameplay I had it. I started the challenge in late July 2018 and bought Seasons in December 2018.

The time had finally come for toddler Ross to become child Ross! Nina made him a delicious strawberry cake then helped him blow out the candles! He's turning out to be quite the stud. Those girls better watch out! 

I also have some CAS (Create-A-Sim) pictures of Ross, Mitchell and Nina! Ross looks like a mini Nina with very little of Mitchell in the mix. He is the rose gen, so he will get pink hair when he ages up into a teen.

As Mitchell has gotten older, he's gotten meaner and more mischievious! He's been working on his mischief skill and aspiration more than anything else except work and family. He's still rocking the long locks and will be for a little longer. The summer heat in Oasis Springs has been testing him.

Classic Nina Caliente-Berry! The only changes I've made to her was becoming thin. She had a thin potion because she was getting big after having Ross. She has her moments, but overall she's actually a fun Sim to play :) Plus look at Ross; she makes good looking kids! ;)

The following evening at work, the Science Lab was being overrun by tourists (note this was being played right before StrangerVille came out!) One of them starting giving Mitchell a nasty attitude, so he took care of her by giving her a freeze ray treatment then some mischief. Mitchell loves mischief.

Fall nights can be cold in Oasis Springs, so Nina and Ross took the necessary precautions before they went stargazing. It's so pretty out there under the clear sky. They wonder what's out there. . .

Bob Pancakes woke up on the wrong side of the bed. He's now an adult, same as most of the townies.

Back at the lab, Mitchell analyzes some plant samples from around the lab.

Who said you can't have fun while working in a Science lab? He convinced coworkers Don Lothario and Marisol Goodson to wear athletic wear and pajamas (Marisol only) while working. He loves messing with his coworkers. He also commanded them to clean so he didn't have to.

That'll do it for this part of Not So Berry Mint generation! I hope you're enjoying reading about Mitchell and his family. As I've been playing, I've been reading the rules and regardless of whether or not I finish everything in a specific generation, I'm still going to continue with the challenge. I don't currently have all the packs and worlds, so I won't be able to do some of the later generation challenges anyway. I initially started this challenge to break away from the way I usually play Sims.

Very brief bonus deleted scene! I was playing the Berry family and forgot to save when my computer blue screened, so I lost like 3 Sim days of progress. Fortunately nothing major happened in those days and the save is perfectly fine. In this version Mitchell helps Ross blow out his birthday candles! These are the only screenshots from that night. 

A to Z Batista Legacy Challenge Gen A Part 3

Jordan WAS pregnant, and she had a girl! Meet Bethany Batista! She was harder to care for as a baby than Bort, but both were good. Much like the last part was mostly Bort, this part is mostly Bethany. The next part will be back to normal. Baby Bethany was so cute! Will she grow up to be a mini Jordan or a mini Alec like her brother?

Uh oh! There are monsters under Bort's bed! I'm so glad the gurus fixed that because Bort was up every single night as a child and it got old really fast.

Alec got home just in time! He sprayed the monster away so Bort could go back to sleep before school in the morning!

Bethany aged up adorably and looks like a mini Jordan with glasses! She had vision issues as a baby, so that's why she needs them. She loved having bangs and her favorite color as a tot is purple.

Bethany was a great toddler, as was Bort. Bort was more into motor and imagination skills, while Bethany was more into thinking. She loves playing Sims Forever when she needs to get her fun skill up!

Alec loved the scenery around Newcrest, which is why he built a deck with almost 360 degree views! It is such a gorgeous world! It looks better during the day than at night, but it's still so beautiful!

This is a slightly shorter part because I wanted to get some more Bort and Bethany moments. They are super close and hope to be best of friends! The Batista clan is now a family of four, with Alec becoming an elder soon and Jordan becoming an adult.

Rags to Riches Stage Three Part 2

Here is part two of Rags to Riches Stage Three! Camila and Shadow have a lovely little home, and a new friend joins the family! I did work out the glitch with Camila and Chester. Previously I had only tried the ResetSim cheat on Camila, so I decided to see if it would work on Chester, and it did! Resetting Chester stopped the glitch so she could be adopted by Camila.

Camila and Chester finally stopped glitching enough for Camila to adopt Chester! The first thing she did was take Chester to the vet to make sure she's healthy! She was tired so she took a nap before the vet saw her! Chester was a little sick, so she was treated then given a clean bill of health! 

Welcome home Chester! She met Shadow and the two kitties are slowly bonding. Both Chester and Shadow love climbing on furniture and being wherever Camila is, so you can find them any and every where! Chester tried to sleep on Camila's bed the first night because she was unaware she had her own bed! Chester was a stray, so she had no idea what it was like to have a home. She got along well with other neighborhood cats, so it wasn't a super hard transition living with Shadow.

The following day Shadow and Chester officially met and it went well, according to Camila. There were no fights, and the kitties instantly knew which food bowl and bed is theirs. The girls love to run around the lot for whatever reason cats run around. They also love being center of attention, and love when Camila's friends visit!

Camila never took her focus off painting, even after adopting two adorable kitties! She is determined to make the best home for Shadow and Chester as she can! She was clearly hungry when she painted this lovely group of fruits! Lemons and oranges are among her favorites, so she made them the biggest!

Now, the time had come to see if either kitty could be spayed. Unfortunately it is another glitchy area as I tried getting both cats spayed at the same time, as well as separate times. While waiting for the vet, another patient, who was possibly Catarina Lynx or Supriya Delgato, decided the wait was too long and took a shower OUTSIDE of the vet's office! Who does that?
