Last time we visited Aldo he was getting closer to mastering the Charisma skill. That is the only promotion requirement. Once he gets there he should be promoted in a couple days! It's also one of the first times I've played my Aldo save since I got Eco Lifestyle.
Aldo is hanging out at the community space on a fine afternoon. I forgot "Free Love" won the Neighborhood Action Plan (NAP) last week so everyone's feeling a little flirty.
Aldo is busting out his fine dance moves. Dancing allows Aldo to destress and take his frustration out on the dance floor. It's a hobby of his.
When he got home, it was back to the mirror. This time he's telling a story rather than practicing his speech. Aldo feels like his speech is just about perfect.
Sometimes I see random things that I think are cool in Strangerville. This is one of them.
Even though Aldo solved the mystery, a conspiracy theorist's van is still scanning something. What they're looking for is something we may never know. I'm pretty sure it's aliens.
Aldo got up early, so he figured why not work on his story some more before work. He's almost ready to tell it to some of his coworkers and friends. He won't say what his story is about though. He's pretty private when it comes to those things.
When he got home from work, he realized his stereos were broken. I wish the stereos didn't break as much as they do. It gets really frustrating having to repair or replace them almost weekly.
Aldo even worked on his story well into the night.
That is, until Harmony invited him to the Ruins in Windenburg. They arrived and then she just randomly left. I don't know if that's a glitch but it's frustrating and rude for a Sim to invite someone to a lot then just randomly leave upon arriving. Ugh Harmony.
Aldo made the best of it and decided to visit one of the parks. It's a little late, so there aren't many Sims here. That's fine, he can work on his logic skill in peace. He did see Cassandra Goth and a couple other friends though.
It's Winterfest, so Aldo got the day off work. He spent it by going to the community space, which is a Maker Space this week. Here he is recycling some old things he had in his inventory. Aldo got super excited to see the bits and pieces.
Then he went to fabricate something. I forget what he was making though. He wants to get a head start on the Fabrication skill before he enters the Civil Designer career.
Ooh what do we have here? Aldo is getting some very much wanted attention from Tina Tinker. Yes, she is married, but no one will get jealous because of the Free Love trait. In the background is Timmy Turner. I made him, Cosmo, Wanda, and Poof and they are on the Gallery! Their family name is Fairy.
Aldo realized he needs soy wax to make candles, so he bought a soybean. He plans on planting some berries and soy plants when he moves to Evergreen Harbor. That way he can make kombucha and candles.
Once again, one of the stereos was broken. This time it was the one in the dining room.
After he was finished repairing the stereo he opened a present. Father Winter left at midnight, so unfortunately Aldo missed asking him for a present. He loves his present though. It was a pretty nice spice rack.
That will wrap up today's trip to Strangerville! Next time we'll see how close he is to that sweet promotion! He's super close to mastering the Charisma skill, so it's not far away!
