It's the first day of spring, so Camila put away her Winterfest tree. She kept the presents out so she could open them throughout the year. She got an element, but I forget which one.
Cedric Myles came to visit. He says he's new to town, so he wanted to meet the neighbors. He seems pretty nice, but what is with this outfit? He must like James Turner's Simself because that's the shirt he wears.
Annika also came over. Camila made lunch while Annika fixed a drink. She made a salty llama while Camila made fish tacos.
When Annika and Cedric went home, so Camila decided to go out. She ventured to her favorite lounge in Oasis Springs and brought her violin. She enjoys playing for others, plus she makes decent tips. Stevie Ventura was the hired Entertainer who tried to steal Camila's thunder. Unfortunately for Stevie, Camila outshined her and Sims like Camila more.
Camila celebrated a nice night out by eating some leftover fish tacos. As usual Shadow is asleep on the floor.
After her nap Shadow decided to sit on the robo vacuum. Um Camila are you okay? That doesn't look comfortable.
Camila also figured Tuesday afternoon is a good time to work on DJ skills.
Candy Behr invited her over to visit that afternoon. They decided to chat outside before the rain hit, while Yuki ran inside because she wanted to beat Candy and Camila to the computer.
Since Yuki was playing Sims Forever on the computer, Candy decided to play Blicblock on the machine. After a while Yuki got hungry and went downstairs.
Oof. Yuki started a fire while making grilled cheese! And of course they have the cheap Yumcooker oven, which almost always causes fires. Especially if a Sim has a lower cooking skill.
Camila was not happy about being interrupted.
This is the result of Yuki's fire. Camila called the fire department and between Camila and the firefighter it was out pretty quickly. That means I get to give the Behr kitchen a slight makeover. I don't like changing a ton of things in townie homes.
I gave them a kitchen with the Cool Kitchen Stuff counters, cabinets, stove and fridge (which is behind the staircase). This shade of blue also matches the floor better than the Base Game counters/cabinets.
After an eventful evening of bonding and fires, Camila wanted to get some fresh air and work on her Logic skill. There's a nice park near the Behr's home and it's perfect. There are three chess tables and some areas to take a nice walk.
Dina Caliente was there, along with another townie named Lorelei Kaufman. Camila hasn't met either of them until tonight, so she's glad to meet new people. Most of the Sims Camila knows are cats. That's just another part of being a crazy cat lady.
That wraps up today's trip to Brindleton Bay! I didn't document it, but Camila needs to paint 5 Masterpieces to finish the Painter Extraordinaire Aspiration. Camila's home value is still around 215,000-220,000 Simoleons. Next time we'll focus on some other ways for Camila to earn money. The Eco Lifestyle expansion pack adds a ton to the game and there are a lot more ways to make money without a job/career. I wish it was that easy to do it in real life.
