Last time we visited Chad and Cassidy, Cassidy became an adult, Leilani and Dave moved in, and it was Spooky Day! Also Chad and Leilani had their first date and woohoo in Chad's room!
We pick up today's adventure with a small reunion. Jordan and Bethany decided to help clean the kitchen a little. Even though Jordan and Alec hired maids first, she'd rather Chad and Cassidy save money for other things. She didn't say exactly what things they should do.
Dave was the next one awake, so he's chatting with Cassidy before she goes to work. I think Dave has been dropping hints that he likes Cassidy back. Let's hope so.
One of Cassidy's teammates really ticked her off today. She already took an angry poop and now she's doing an angry painting.
Chad also came home mad, so he's painting an angry painting. What is it with them being mad today? Leilani and Alex are pretty content. It must be an unnamed holiday called "Make Batistas Mad Day" or something.

Chad got some beetles and grubs for the insect farms. I'm not sure how weather affects them, so we'll see. Leilani is giving them some love before going to bed. I can't wait to see how the generators will affect the landscape and air. Have you played with an industrial footprint? Do you prefer industrial or green?
Leilani's mom Keri was visiting. As Leilani was tending to the bugs, her mom was mourning one of the Sims that passed on. I think she was mourning Ian but I'm not quite sure.
The next morning Cassidy was getting in a workout. Dave came down and started talking to her. Their friendship and romance bars are kind of low, so I want to improve their friendship before moving to romance.
Of course they had to do my favorite Sim bonding activity: cloudgazing! Well, technically they're stargazing because it's like 4AM. Also Ian is being gross in front of them. I'm glad neither Dave nor Cassidy walked through that smelly trail.
After a lovely stargazing session, Cassidy was hungry. Chad made some grilled fruit, so she's treating herself to some. Also it's Harvestfest!
Chad is watering the plants. I decided to put a roof over the garden so the plants will be harvestable all year. Chad likes that idea.
Dave and Cassidy were flirting by the pool. Will they swim together? (Spoiler they didn't).
OOH! Cassidy and Dave are having their first kiss! At least I think that's what's going on. Dave's face is awkwardly in Cassidy's mouth so it's hard to tell.
Okay, Dave. Townies have the weirdest outfits...
...But there's nothing a little Create-A-Sim action can't fix! Dave looks much better and Leilani looks super cute in that dress.
That will wrap up today's trip to Newcrest! Next visit we'll see Chad & Leilani and Dave & Cassidy's relationships improve and maybe by the end of the summer we'll have at least one or two gen D babies! Yay!
