Strangerville Part Twenty-Nine: Post Mystery Part Five

I'm back! My granddad passed away a couple weeks ago, so I went up to Ohio to help my grandma with things. While it was nice to see some fall foliage, I really missed the warm Florida weather. I'm not a fan of cold weather, so I'm glad to be warm again. Since Aldo is the fourth save in our rotation, this week will be Monday/Wednesday/Friday. We'll do Monday/Friday posts until we catch up then we'll be back to our normally scheduled Wednesday posts.

This is going to be the last part in Strangerville! It feels like just last week that Aldo and Harmony were just starting their young adult lives. Now, Harmony has rejoined the household as a ghost, Aldo reached the top of the Military career, and is getting ready to move to Evergreen Harbor. We'll be moving to The Shipping Views lot in Port Promise. I'm not sure what Neighborhood Action Plans are active there, so we'll see when we get there.

Aldo is playing some Sims Forever after a stressful day at work. He was playing Blicblock before this, but he changed his mind and wanted to play Sims. I feel that, Aldo.

The next morning Harmony was working on her Mixology skill. Aldo grabbed a plate of spoiled food and chatted with her.

Harmony broke the shower...again. Aldo was playing the R.E.F.U.G.E. before he fixed the shower. He's debating moving to Evergreen Harbor earlier since he's saved almost 30,000 Simoleons.

Aldo did a thing! Well, Harmony did too but mostly Aldo. They have officially moved to Evergreen Harbor! Yay! I renovated the build slightly to keep the Industrial footprint and it worked. Port Promise's eco footprint is almost all the way up the industrial scale. So Aldo will be working on that. Moving from his large home in Strangerville to this one in Evergreen Harbor gave Aldo over 100,000 Simoleons! So I renovated it some more to cater to his personal taste.

I added a basement for the gym, storage area, and bookshelf. I still need to figure out a small seating area so they don't have to go upstairs to read a book.

Here's the gym. The lights I used are from I think Outdoor Retreat and are off-the-grid lights. I might give Aldo a makeover since he and Harmony will be living off-grid (that'll be the next part I think?)

Here's a full image of the basement. I did edit it a bit after these were taken, but not too much was done. The holiday items were moved to the household inventory and I put a Juice Fizzing Station, Recycler, and Fabricator in there.

I lengthened the kitchen by one tile to make sure there was enough room for everything on the counters. I turned this building into the kitchen/dining room and it came out super cute! The counters are the VAULT counters from Base Game and the table is from Get Together.

This is where the bedroom was. I turned it into an entryway/bar to open up the space. I'm really into the light walls/dark decor trend (it shows on my recent gallery builds), so I reflected it here. I did change the bar since I wanted it to be darker. I don't remember which pack the bar is from, but I'm pretty sure the barstools are either Base Game or Get Together.

The upstairs is now the bedroom. I bought the bed from Eco Lifestyle to better reflect the aesthetic of the house. I left the vertical planters on the other side and added two more. Then outside there's the grill and large eating/entertainment area. I may eventually do something with the empty area of the lot, but right now it works for Harmony and Aldo. I placed Harmony's grave near the stairs so everyone can see Harmony and know where they came from.

The dew collectors are the ones Aldo upgraded in Strangerville and I added solar panels to give them a start on their Green Eco Footprint. I may upload this on the Gallery, as well as Harmony and Aldo post-makeover. My Gallery name is PhilliesPOPster5, same as my Origin and Steam name.

Aldo is just hanging out in the rain in his pajamas. He didn't bother changing outfits when he moved from Strangerville.

Harmony was just mourning herself, as she does a lot. I think that has something to do with her Good trait. This also gives a better look at the front porch. I will be changing the stairs from white to black before uploading to the Gallery.

Jeb Harris' younger brother, whose name I don't remember at the moment, came over to meet Aldo. Harmony is mourning herself again while they discuss stuff and things.

I had to turn graphic settings way down because of streaming, but usually there are orange smog clouds everywhere.

After Jeb's brother left, Aldo wanted to get in a workout. He is still unsure of how soon he wants to start the Civil Designer career.

That concludes Aldo and Harmony's move to Evergreen Harbor! Next time we see them, they'll be getting makeovers and Aldo will be starting the Civil Designer career! I also need to check the Neighborhood Action Plans and see which ones we want to implement. Wednesday we will visit Camila and the kitties, Friday we see the Batista family, next Monday we see the Berrys, and next Friday we're back here in Evergreen Harbor! Have a great week :)
