Rags to Riches Mansion Baron Part Fifteen

I'm sorry this post is going up so late, but I've been pretty busy today. Last time we visited Camila and the kitties, Camila got a nice makeover! She started Fabricating things, making flower arrangements, and Kitty had a kitten named Lilly! Chester also came back from running away! She seems to do that a lot. Is that a glitch or is Chester really that miserable with Camila and the others? 

Camila starts off the day doing what she does best: painting! This one ended up being a Masterpiece, but since I forgot to change her aspiration to the Painter Extraordinaire it didn't count. Boo. I've had to lock the doors in her office when she paints because I still have the glitch where she'll stop painting to play with one of the cats. My game is up to date and has been doing that for months.

After her painting session, Camila made some Franks & Beans and talked to Shadow. She gets a lot out of talking to her cats. Most of her questions are answered with meows, but Camila really thinks that helps. It kinda does actually.

Another morning, another painting. This one wasn't a Masterpiece, but it still looked great.

After her painting session, Camila wanted to get in a good workout. Here's her new workout outfit in action. It's super cute. I wish I had an outfit like this in my closet.

Again, Chester? Seriously? She's running away again. I'm beginning to think this is a glitch because she runs away all the time!

Kitty and Lilly are having an adorable bonding session in the downstairs bathroom. I love Sim pets. They're so cute, but I do with you could control the pets like you could in previous games.

Annika invited Camila to her house, so she said yes. Camila is sitting in the chairs, while Annika and her daughter Kimberly are talking on the ottoman. They'd rather sit on the ottoman than the couch in front of them. Sims are so weird sometimes.

Camila went upstairs to talk to Kimberly while she was playing on the computer. Kimberly went to the bathroom, so she's talking to Darryl, Kimberly's younger brother.

Kimberly was hungry, so she wanted to cook something. And she starts a fire. Camila is already tense.

Firefighters to the rescue! Camila's quick thinking helped save the Whitts' kitchen! 

Camila needed a stress reliever, so she went to the Solar Flare in Oasis Springs. She was already there (Annika lives there), so it just made sense. Plus it's her favorite place to hang out. She played violin while the entertainer (I forget her name) is telling jokes.

When you gotta go, you gotta go. Camila took her drink to the bathroom with her and is now washing one hand while holding her Wrench in the other.

It's a nice, hot day in Brindleton Bay, so Camila is working on the rocket ship. She wants to visit Sixam and see what is there. 

Easton decided to visit Camila, but he didn't realize she was in the shower downstairs. So he's a little embarrassed that he walked in on her. She's not mad, but she is a bit embarrassed as well.

Camila hasn't picked flowers in a while, so she's tending her garden.

I don't have many screenshots of the house, but I was able to upgrade some things throughout Camila's home. The main upgrades were this movie theater screen in the living room and the fridge and oven in the kitchen. Her home is currently worth around 263,000 Simoleons. She's getting there! Painting and gardening are really helping her.

That will wrap up today's trip to Brindleton Bay! Camila is making good progress on her aspirations, and I think we'll only have a couple parts before she's ready to venture to Batuu! I don't own it at the moment, but I still have a bit of time before Camila is ready to travel.

Also the Sims team announced a new pack yesterday! The Snowy Escapes expansion pack releases on November 13th! I will be adding it to my collection and at least a few of the Sims will venture to the new world (I forget the name of it) and take part in the fun winter festivities that come with the pack!
