Last time we visited Newcrest, Cassidy and Dave got married and Cassidy got pregnant! Dave also became an elder!
Chad is tending to the insect farm outside. I'm not sure how the bugs aren't dying from the cold, but I'm not arguing. If anyone has any advice on not having your insect farms die within a couple days, please share!
Cassidy decided taking a bath was more important than peeing, so right after she was all nice and clean, she peed herself. Sims really don't know how to prioritize their needs. It happens more than one would think.
After she was finished her second bath, it was time to celebrate Dave's birthday! He will become a dad as an elder! Better late than never.
Afro was feeling sad (remember she has the Hates Children trait), so Cassidy was cheering her up. "Don't worry, Mom. Soon enough they'll be a teen and you can visit them without feeling tense all the time."
Alec decided to visit and do what all Batistas do, and that's paint. Even in the afterlife, Batistas love to paint.
Dave and Cassidy are bonding some more over games. Video games are a great way for Sims to bond.
When Cassidy went to bed, Alec and Afro decided to meet Dave and get to know him more. I mean, he is their son/grandson-in-law.
I got a notification about Alec's spirit fading away, so Cassidy decided to strengthen it. As irritating as ghosts are, I like having them in the lot during a legacy challenge. It adds a little more to the game (even though they do love breaking all the plumbing).
Afro decided to visit while everyone was asleep. She painted this cute painting of a tea pot. It's poor quality, but we shall hang it in the art room for everyone to see.
After she finished, she had a nice discussion with Alec. Alec thinks Bort had a great taste in women and married a lovely Sim. He really likes Afro.
Cassidy is now in her second trimester! Here she is stretching her back after waking up. She likes being pregnant but is even more excited to meet baby Batista! Do you think she and Dave will have a girl or boy?
Leilani and Chad are having a nice conversation while Leilani eats leftover turkey. I'm not sure what they're discussing, but it may be something related to their relationship or painting.
Cassidy loves working out even while pregnant. She wants to stay as fit as she can to make things as easy as possible. She's also actively working toward her next promotion.
Leilani joined her downstairs. Cassidy likes the new movie screen in the gym. She can see everything that goes on wherever she is in the room. She loves that feature.
After the movie Leilani offered to give Chad a foot massage. He gave her one, so Leilani says it's her turn to give one to Chad. That's pretty fair.
That wraps up today's trip to Newcrest! On our next visit Cassidy will have her baby! Then after the baby is born I'm thinking we'll get Chad and Leilani engaged and maybe married! Things are happening fast, which is exciting! Have a great weekend and see you Monday in Oasis Springs!
