When we last saw Camila and her kitties a couple weeks ago, we focused a lot on Chester and Shadow. Today we'll be back to seeing how Camila is earning her way to a new and glamorous house.
Shadow is a good cat, but she does have moments where she decides to be bad. This is one of them. She decided to try to claw Camila's desk, even though there's a scratching post in the same room. Cat logic: ignore what is for you and go for what the human uses.
Meanwhile, Camila is painting some more gorgeous paintings. This time she is improving her racecar painting. It looks amazing as always, Camila!
Shadow loves sleeping in odd places, and today's odd place is the mat by the front door. She's definitely a character, that's for sure.
Chester decided to sleep in an odd spot as well. Usually she sleeps on the fridge or counters, but tonight she ate so much that she fell asleep near the food.
Camila is letting the kitties sleep while she enjoys some grand meal leftovers. She loves that she can cook delicious meals and she especially loves that she rarely has to share with anyone (unless a friend comes over).
Later that night, maybe morning, she found both Chester and Shadow in her office. So Camila decided to play with the laser pointer with both of them. Cats and lasers can be so entertaining, even in the Sims!
Winter is here! Camila hates the cold weather, but Winterfest is her favorite holiday. She goes all out to decorate because she loves it so much! She hasn't gotten to decorate her room because she got tired, but here is the main level of her gorgeous home. It looks amazing, Camila! You have great taste!
She's also taking the time to practice her violin skills just in case someone wants to sing Winterfest songs with her. Alexander said wants to come over soon to see her decorations.
After a fun morning of decorating for Winterfest, Camila decided to unwind by painting again. I think she's painting a ship again, but who knows. Camila paints a lot of Realism paintings because they are worth a lot, especially since she's mastered the painting skill.
Even though Chester and Shadow have comfortable beds to sleep, they still choose to sleep on the welcome mats near the door. Fortunately Shadow was outside so she stayed warm. Either way it's kind of annoying but realistic to have cats sleep in random, unexpected places.
Camila's old friend Mayor Whiskers decided to pay her a visit before it got super cold in Brindleton Bay. He used to visit a lot more before she adopted Shadow and Chester. She may adopt him next; Camila loves cats and feels a Sim can never have too many.
The next morning, Annika asked Camila if she could come over. Obviously Camila said yes because they're great friends. After some great discussions, Annika and Camila became best friends! Sims can only be "best friends" with one Sim, so Camila is glad Annika is her bestie. She was the first friend Camila made when she moved to Brindleton Bay.
Camila also took pictures of Chester that day. She loves taking pictures of the girls and posting them on her bedroom wall because she loves them so much. They love her a lot in return, which is nice. Here are Chester's model shots. If I could add something new to Sims 4, it'd be a modeling career for both Sims and pets. Chester and Shadow would be great models!
That will do it for this part of Rags to Riches! The next part will show part of Winterfest, which is why the house is all fancied up and decorated. Camila is working really hard on that final part of her aspiration. She can't wait to finally move onto the Mansion Baron! She feels confident that she can make her dreams come true right here in gorgeous Brindleton Bay!
