Rags to Riches: Mansion Baron Part Eight

Last time we visited Brindleton Bay Camila was quite the party animal. She attended three parties, visited Easton's house, painted a masterpiece and visited Annika's house. This part is a little less party heavy.

Camila noticed her robot vacuums haven't been working. Turns out they needed a minor repair and upgrade. Now they're good as new!

Camila wanted to work on her DJ skill. She heard it's a good way to make a few Simoleons while already at a club gathering.

When she finished Kitty decided to take a nap on the scratched up couch. Rude kitties, rude.

Another day, another cat fight. As much as Camila loves random cats, she really needs to decide if she wants to keep the "Cat Hangout" lot trait.

Shadow sleeps in the funniest positions on her cat bed.

Easton came over to hang out. He wanted to thank Camila for going over there and proving Easton wasn't doing anything scandalous (like cheating on his wife).

It's Bear Night in Brindleton Bay. Camila hates bears and she wonders why she was invited here. Ugh.

At least the conversation and gossip is good. Plus the bartender is making drinks a little stronger to take off the edge from these bears.

After the party was over, Camila decided to visit the museum. She wants to see if she can complete the Painting aspiration while she works on the Mansion Baron one. One of the requirements was visiting three paintings in a museum. She loves this one in Brindleton Bay.

Camila loves gathering inspiration for future paintings. She especially loves anything related to the sea and boats, which is partially what drew her to Brindleton Bay in the first place.

She loves this model of the island. It's so realistic and to scale.

Last time Camila visited this museum someone painted something. I hung it on the wall for all Sims to see. I forget who painted it though.

This museum is seriously so beautiful. The Gurus did an amazing job with this world!

Look at this view! I can't recommend Seasons and Cats & Dogs enough <3 they're my two favorite expansion packs for the Sims 4 (keep in mind I don't own them all at the moment)

Strangerville Part Twenty-Two (contains Strangerville Mystery Spoilers!)

So today is the release of the Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack!! Are you getting it? Did you preorder it? As I mentioned Monday I preordered it last Tuesday (May 26th) and I'm really excited to play with it! I took a Twitter poll last week so see what you guys think we should do with Aldo. I asked if we should have him move to Evergreen Harbor or stay in Strangerville. The poll had 50/50 results so I did a follow up poll about Camila. It didn't get any votes so I'll be making the decision. After Aldo is finished the Strangerville Mystery and reaches level 10 in the Military career, he will be moving to Evergreen Harbor! It wasn't a super hard decision to know he'll be moving into Port Promise! While seeing Strangerville the way it is, Aldo has gained a new respect for the environment and wants to improve the lifestyle there. :)
Last time we visited Strangerville Aldo tried to cure Stephan Harris from the infection. Unfortunately it didn't work. He almost has the formula perfected! He's getting close :)

He was getting tense from no fun, so he decided to go home and play some MySims Go! Baby Yoda watches him.

Clement Frost (aka Father Winter aka Santa) asked Aldo if he wanted to go to Bear Night at the bar. Aldo said yes. It's not everyday that Santa invites you to the bar.

Aldo is sitting by himself because he doesn't actually like bears and the bar was full. 

Before work the next morning Aldo decided to listen to some music. I love that the Retro station is available to listen to whenever! I think it was an unlockable station but now it's not. I love the songs that play in the Retro station. I love Sims music so much.

After work Aldo was working on his speech. He needs one more Charisma skill point to get promoted! He's getting so close! 

The next day after work Aldo couldn't stop thinking about Harmony. "Soon I will defeat the Mother for you, Harmony. Then Strangerville will truly be free."

Really, Cassandra? The computer broke while she was doing something on it. She says she's sorry. Aldo will fix it as he always does.

That's not something you see everyday. I've never had a Sim mourn themselves before. Has this happened to you?

That night Aldo was invited to a party and look who's here. It's Harmony! She can dance too.

Um, Aldo, what are you doing? It seems like he's trying to be Justin Delgato lol

After work Aldo was feeling super tense. He enjoys doing yoga to relax a little.

Unfortunately he was still feeling super tense. So he decided to play Blicblock while giving this weird stare. I'm not sure if he's staring Baby Yoda down or if he's concentrating on the game. Sims have some strangely funny facial expressions.

After he relaxed a little it was back to the lab to perfect this vaccine. Aldo is determined to get this solved.

He went to the bar because a lot of possessed Sims walk through that area. He saw Robi Cain zombie walking behind the library, so he had to try it on him. 

"Ugh I don't think it worked," Aldo grumbled. He's getting closer with every trip to the lab.

Unfortunately Aldo was right. This is a first-person shot of possessed Robi. I love the possessed faces so much! It can be annoying but when your Sim becomes possessed their needs fill up automatically.

That concludes this trip to Strangerville! Next time we'll see if Aldo can finally perfect the vaccine. He's getting tired of falling short. We'll also see if he gets a much deserved promotion. Then he'll be level 9! When he reaches level 10 we'll move onto the next part of the journey :)

Not So Berry Rose Gen Part Eight

This is an exciting week for the Sims 4! Tomorrow the new Base Game update comes out and Friday is the release of the new expansion pack, Eco Lifestyle! I preordered Eco Lifestyle last Tuesday so I'm really excited to get it! I also bought Tiny Living, which I'm also really excited about! I will be exploring parts of Evergreen Harbor in every save, but I will be focusing on it most with Aldo in Strangerville. Last time we visited Oasis Springs Brooklynn and Ross adopted a cat named Tom. Ross also had his first kiss with Candy Behr.

Ross is currently at a gathering with the Paragons. He's getting to know the members while deciding which one he wants to pursue a romantic relationship. Currently they're trying on outfits. It's Ross' turn to try on an outfit next!

Ooh, looking good Ross! I may use that shirt later in the legacy. Those shorts don't look good with that shirt though.

Ross got bored just trying on outfits, so he decided to go for a swim. He's waiting for this Sim to get out of his way.

And he jumps!

...And he lost his pants! I laugh so hard when Sims lose their pants while jumping in the pool. It's a hilarious moment that I hope doesn't happen IRL.

He brushed it off as he does and decided to end the gathering. It was getting late and Ross wanted to go home.

Tom is so precious! I may cheat and keep him for a bit. I like having Sim cats but I hate when they pass. I know it's more realistic but I like the idea of having a pet for multiple generations.

Mitchell came to meet Tom! He's asking Ross about him. Mitchell is a dog person but he thinks Tom is the cutest cat he's seen.

Brooklynn was super tired so rather than sleep in her bed, she decided to sleep on the couch.

Mitchell broke the shower, so Ross fixed it. Then Brooklynn mentioned she wanted to have a baby before she becomes an elder.

It's time to try for a baby! Let's see if our yellow generation Sim will be conceived! 

...And BROOKLYNN IS PREGNANT! Do you think they're going to have a boy or girl? 

Tom is too cute sometimes <3 this bed from My First Pet Stuff is super cute. I love this egg swatch.

He was about to chase his tail nub.

Tom is now an adult! Which means he can jump on things and go up and down the stairs! He turned out to be really cute :) I love Sim pets but hate that you can't control them like in Sims 3.

That must be painful, Tom. He's using the scratching post while slightly glitching into the wall and litter box.
