Rainbow Legacy Challenge DLC RULES

Yesterday's post was all about the Base Game edition of my Rainbow Legacy Challenge. The same general rules apply, but I'll repost them anyway. I will show which DLC you need for each generation. If you're missing a pack or two, no worries! Just switch it with the base game edition and all is good :)

General Rules:

  • Create ONE Sim (gender doesn’t matter) and make them a young adult

  • Create A Sim stories are not to be used with any Sims in the Legacy, but can be used for townies you create/have created

  • Your Sims can have any skin tone, eye color, hair color, etc. but their overall color scheme must be that of the generation they represent.

  • No using money cheats (except Free Real Estate)

  • Mods and CC are allowed as long as it doesn’t mess with the Sims’ careers, traits or money

  • You may choose whichever branch of that generation’s career you wish

  • All heirs must mate with a game-generated townie (ex. Johnny Zest, Don Lothario, Liberty Lee, Summer Holiday, etc.)

  • Sims can have as many children as they wish, but only one can be heir

  • If you choose to keep the other children in the household, you are able to (but they cannot have kids of their own)

  • Aging for the household must be ON (inactive household aging can be off or on)

  • Sims can live in whatever world/lot they wish

  • Sims can move but only once per generation

  • You may travel to work with your Sim if you have an active career

  • When you complete the generation’s Aspiration, you may choose another of your liking.

  • The main objective for each generation is max their three given skills, their career and finish their aspiration.

  • You may open a retail store, veterinarian office, restaurant, etc. if it goes with that generation’s skills, aspiration or career.
