A to Z Batista Legacy Gen C Part Seventeen

I can't believe this is the last time we visit the Batistas in 2020! This year has been great at times and miserable at others. Keeping up with this blog has been one of the things keeping me on track this year.
When we last visited the Batista family, it was Winterfest! Leilani got a less than desirable present and we were continuing to work on Chad and Leilani's relationship.

It seems like Dave also got a less than desirable present too. I forget what it was, but he wasn't happy.

I don't think Dave and Cassidy really don't know what personal space is. They morphed into one Sim for a moment.

Ooh, we have a baby!! Cassidy has given birth to a BOY! So if you guessed she was having a boy, congrats! :D His name is David! I had planned on naming my D-generation boy David (one of my best friends is named David so it fits) and Cassidy marrying Dave was a complete coincidence. But now his name has a little sentiment behind it.

After Cassidy gave birth, Leilani wanted to chat in the kitchen. Leilani was asking Cassidy if she'd make a birthday cake for Chad since today is his birthday. Cassidy said yes. She and Chad have always been close, so it was an obvious choice for her.

Um, Chad? Number one, why does your bike have a flower power type paint job? And two, why are you riding the bike in the house? (disclaimer I accidentally hit "Bike Here" instead of "Go Here" when I tried to get everyone in the kitchen.

Happy birthday, Chad! Chad is officially an adult, and is one step closer to retiring. We shall see how far we can get him in the Painting Career.

This part is super eventful so far! It's now wedding time! And look who our caterer is! It's Mila Munch from Windenburg!

Before the ceremony got underway, Chad and Leilani are having some chips while Dave orders a drink.

Chad liked her, so he put a ring on her!

Congrats Chad and Leilani! <3

Here is a good shot of the lovely wedding guests. They all know the Batistas and how iconic they are in Newcrest.

And they carried out the tradition of sharing the first piece of wedding cake. Chad and Leilani are so cute.

Everyone was hungry and tired after the official part of the ceremony (that's what happens when you plan a late night wedding in the Sims). I do miss when you could plan social events in the future.

Musician Kimberly Pratt and Chad's friend Willie Logan were chatting it up while Kimberly played some lovely violin tunes. Cassidy walked away to let them get to talking.

I guess it's nap time? There is a ton of down time in a wedding, so it only makes sense to catch some zzz's.

I decided to end the wedding "early," so everyone went home. Well, Mila Munch left two dishes on the counter for someone to finish. One was the French Toast Chad is cooking, and the other is a black and white cake that Chad also finished. He is now level 2 in the Gourmet Cooking Skill.

Since it is the last Batista post of 2020, I wanted to share some pictures from the Wedding Venue in Brindleton Bay.

It's my favorite world in the game and having Seasons just adds to it, especially in the winter. What's your favorite world? If you could live or take a vacation in *any* world from any Sims game, where would you go? Next week we catch up with the Berry family, so let's see what we can get into with Ross and Yannick. We'll be focusing quite a bit on Yannick since he's about a week from aging up into a teen, which means he can start working on his adult skills.
