Last time we visited Newcrest Chad started talking to a teen named Leilani and I think he may want to wife her up when she ages up. Cassidy was working on getting her Fitness skill up to earn her next promotion. Once she maxes the skill she'll achieve the last part of the Bodybuilder Aspiration!
Fortunately Jordan stuck around long enough to explain to Chad exactly what she did and why. He had to leave for work before she could thoroughly explain why the plumbing is broken almost every morning. Ugh. We may never know.
Chad had a rough day at work so he did some yoga to relax. It's a new Batista pasttime, but it will never replace painting.
Cassidy was feeling extra creative, so Chad decided to join after his yoga session. Plus he has to paint to get promoted and work on his aspiration.
Cassidy painted a masterpiece! Chad went to the kitchen but came back to admire her work. Since they already have over 100,000 Simoleons (and counting) they decided to display these paintings. When Chad paints a masterpiece it will replace his.
"Oh the plants! I have to harvest them as much as I can this week! All but the money tree are in season in the summer!" Chad remembered. He loves gardening because it reminds him of his past and it's a lovely piece of Batista family history.
Cassidy found Chad as he collected honey from the bees. The bees do help the garden but they can be irritating, especially when they're "irritated" and there's no way to calm them down.
Since both Chad and Cassidy are into fitness, they decided to join Powerhouse. This is the most popular club with my Sims. Most of that reason is a lot of my Sims are into fitness because I am. If you have Get Together, what club(s) do most of your Sims join?
Cassidy went for one machine while Chad went for another. I love this gym but I hate how Sims have to enter, walk from one side of the basement to the other and go up the stairs in order to workout. I wish they would've put an archway or something in there. I usually do that in my saves.
Cassidy has officially reached her maximum body potential! Look at them abs, girl! Way to go! She has been coaching Chad whenever she can so he can also reach his max.
After Chad lifted some weights he wanted to get in some non-treadmill cardio. So he did what most Sims do at this gym: swim laps in the pool. I love the pool accessories that come with Get Together. This pack was definitely worth the buy! (I got it for $20 when it was on sale)
Cassidy wanted to do an extra set of weights, so she did. Here she's being mentored and motivated by the gym trainer. She loves it! But unfortunately she went a little too hard during the last set and pulled a muscle. Don't worry she'll be fine.
Cassidy was hungry, so what better meal to make than the iconic Grilled Cheese?
When Chad finished his sandwich Leilani invited him to her birthday party...at the same gym! Most townies have parties at their house but Leilani wanted hers at the gym *shrug*
Chad and Leilani talk and get to know each other better. What do you think? Would she be a fit suitor for our Chad? She is a redhead, so there's a small chance their heir wouldn't be a redhead.
Sorry this is one picture short. You'll find out why on our next trip to Newcrest (even though we're technically in Windenburg today). I always enjoy playing the Batista family. Of the saves I share here, the Batistas are played the least because it's on my laptop while the others are on my desktop. It's okay though; it's good to use my laptop every now and then so it doesn't act up as much while I travel.
