Strangerville Mystery Part Two

In the last part, I mentioned Harmony and Aldo's neighbor Tom put something in their fridge. That something turned out to be a bizarre fruit! I thought I got a screenshot of it but I didn't. Next time it happens (hopefully there will be a next time) I'll screenshot more of it. When the Welcome Wagon was over, these guys (I call them Men In Black because of the movies) came and confiscated their fridge and left a nice letter explaining what they did. They did reimburse Harmony and Aldo except for about 15 Simoleons. They didn't interact with anyone but they did warn to stay away from the Secret Lab. Little do they know Harmony and Aldo already explored it! They also plan on returning to look for more evidence!

While Harmony was looking for Conspiracy Theorists to befriend and possessed Sims to study, she ran into Willow Creek's Summer Holiday and Cassandra Goth. Their friendships may be important later.

Part of the "Daily Tasks" in the Military career is to work with the training bot. I wanted to get Harmony and Aldo their own, but their house doesn't have much space. One day they will have enough room to do everything they need. For now, they share the bot and punching bag (not pictured). Here we see Aldo working with the bot to quicken his reflexes.

It won't take other Sims very long to fall for Harmony and Aldo. Not many Sims can resist a Sim in uniform ;) Both Aldo and Harmony are pleased in the shades of green in their uniforms.

While Aldo and Harmony were at work, Amir walked by, still possessed. As far as I've seen, the possessed Sims stay possessed until you click the "Snap out of it" interaction.

One of the really cool things in the Strangerville aspiration is visiting and purchasing items from the Curio shop. You can find some quirky things that are related to the Strangerville mystery, as well as some conspiracy books.

Another "Daily Task" in the Military career is to Practice Marching around town. Harmony and Aldo set off in different directions to seem less suspicious to the possessed Sims and those trying to keep the Strangerville Mystery a mystery.

After her march, Harmony ran into their possessed neighbor, Leslie. She tried talking to her, but all Leslie kept saying was gibberish about "The Mother." Whoever that is. We'll find out soon enough.

One night after work, Harmony had a great idea to venture to the library to see what she and Aldo could find about Strangerville and its mysterious past. They both found a little bit of evidence hiding something, but nothing huge. Harmony is a bigger reader than Aldo, so he was a little hesitant on going to the library, especially at night. He doesn't like being outdoors at night just in case something happens to the Possessed. He read an article about that once.

When he got home, Aldo couldn't help but read more about Strangerville. He decided to read one of the books Harmony got him from the Curio shop. It was only fair that he'd read it first because she did pick up SIM5 Bugs for the two of them ;)

That's all we have for Part two of the Strangerville Mystery! In Part 3, we'll travel back to the lab to see what changes after the Men In Black come and see what else comes with the military career! Have you played Strangerville yet? Are you enjoying it? What are you favorite and/or least favorite things about the pack? Is it as good as you anticipated?

As we get deeper into StrangerVille, please be aware that there will be spoilers. If you want to avoid them, please don't read further Strangerville posts until you have it.
