A to Z Batista Legacy Challenge Gen A Part 1

At first I was wanting to post twice a week but since I don't have as much content in some saves as others, I ultimately decided on once a week for the time being. I'll do my best to stick to Wednesdays, but I may have to push some posts back a day or two. So far Wednesday seems like the best option! I also plan on having mostly challenge content, with some other random saves included as well! I may do my Simself Dream Life sometime in the future too! I have some content there and may do what I plan on doing with Rags to Riches (refer to my first Rags to Riches post!)

The last few weeks I've been OBSESSED with my Legacy family, the Batista's! They're so much fun to play and the legacy challenge is so much different than the way I usually play Sims. I'm currently on Gen C, and hope to have at least one Gen D baby born by the end of next week! I have a lot of screenshots, so expect quite a few posts from each generation!

I started with a male Founder, Jordan Batista, who I renamed Alec when I decided to go from a 10 generation legacy to the Alphabet Legacy, or A to Z Legacy. I am doing it a little different, as you'll see as the story goes on. Most legacies follow one heir, while I am following two heirs, who you'll meet in the next couple parts

The story starts when young adult Alec Batista moves to Newcrest. He always loved music, so he gets a job in the Entertainer career, so he has to build his musical talents and skills. His hobbies include painting and harvesting plants, so Alec did those to earn extra money to build up his home. He had a great daily routine of work, harvesting and painting, with taking care of his needs somewhere in the mix.

When Mixologist Jordan McCain moves to town, Alec falls in love immediately. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, but it took a while for her to feel the same way.

It took a lot of cloudgazing for Alec and Jordan's relationship to increase, and eventually Alec's flirtatious personality got to Jordan. He was a really romantic Sim who would rather have one great partner than numerous mediocre ones.

Alec had dreamed of being married before he aged up to an adult, but life had slightly different plans. He aged up to an adult, but he was in a relationship with Jordan. The couple was very happy together and regularly had "us time," even with their sometimes conflicting work schedules.

Alec had planned to wait until marriage to woohoo for the first time, but with Jordan he couldn't contain himself. He loved it, as did Jordan! Their romance was on fire and no one could stop them! Right after that great woohoo, Alec proposed to Jordan. She said YES!

They got married shortly after being engaged. The wedding venue was in beautifully scenic Brindleton Bay at a park near the Vet clinic. Alec and Jordan's closest friends attended the beautiful ceremony, where the two lovers exchanged vows and Jordan officially became a Batista!

When Alec and Jordan returned home from the wedding, they had to try for a baby! They didn't care if it was a boy or girl; they just knew they wanted children and a successful family! They didn't believe in honeymoons, so they spent the next couple days relaxing at home.

Jordan loved to paint the outdoors and did plenty of it with Alec's help! Here she is painting a beautiful landscape in her first trimester.

Alec was reading a dramatic scene from his favorite book, Gentleman Corgi, while Jordan looked up reputable nannies for the baby when he or she came!

Jordan loved being outdoors, so she took every opportunity that she could harvesting local plants and digging up capsules to earn extra money for the baby.

Since Jordan was on maternity leave at work, she painted a lot with Alec to make as much money as they could before the baby came. Alec's skill was almost maxed, so his paintings were worth quite a bit.

Will baby Batista be a boy or a girl? Will there be one baby? Twins? Triplets? Find out in part two of the Batista Legacy Gen A!
